I’m concerned that they took my friend’s old Macbook to back her data up on her new computer, then lost the old computer with her data on it. Now they are denying they had it. So… All her personal data is floating out there somewhere. Don’t do any transactions with them without having the terms spelled out. How do you spell… LAWSUIT???

don’t bring your mac here. It took weeks to get a part in and tech offered to wave fee for installation of power supply as a make good because it took so long to even address the problem. then days later they say hard drive is bad and they will replace for cost of the part while it’s open. so i get there and there’s a 145 labor component on the bill and no notes about a make good. so the guy in the front of the store argued with me about it. I went there instead of Apple for the sheer convenience, but i will never do that again. tech guys were nice, but you’re not dealing with them directly if you go to the store.

I got involved with these guys via the Apple Care Support program. I contacted Apple for an onsite upgrade of my iMac and an appointment was set with TBI. First thing the following morning I receive a very informative phone call from their office, checking my needs and to set an appointment. The tech turned up exactly as planned and scheduled. With all the correct parts and equally knew everything about my issue and how to fix it. Chris their tech, was both very helpful and careful to make sure I was to be left a very satisfied customer. Which I was. In CT where I live, I have found over the past years a reliable and efficient Company and staff are hard to find. Here I have found exactly that and will ensure if I have any Apple issues again this team will be my first call.

Go to Macintosh crew in Fairfield County and the new location in Norwalk is much better than old in Westport as parking was a nightmare there, especially in the wintertime. I’d say this is about as personable as computer repair is going to be these days and I encourage people in need to explore this option as opposed to big box options.

I went to get my 2009 macbook pro upgraded and the screen hinge tightened. The hard drive and memory upgrades are fine however they forgot to tighten the hinge. Also, and probably most importantly, I was quoted a price of $ 400-$ 450 for the work and told my 5 year-old computer could last another 6 years, but my bill was $ 586 and they said my comp would probably last only around 3 more years! I thought this was crazy, ultimately paid $ 503. They were very apologetic for the miscommunication. In the end the work they did was fine, but the customer service was not great. I probably would not return to them or recommend them.

TBI computer moved from Westport to Norwalk recently and the new showroom is beautiful. They have all the Apple products and knowledgeable staff to help you with any of your questions. I had a diagnostic of an old MacBook Air that was not worth fixing based on the cost of the repairs but was able to understand all of my options and choices very clearly and their policies and procedures are very fair and reasonable. They also have product in stock and was able to find a replacement. I am very happy doing business with TBI computer.

TBI has helped me several times in the last few years and the people have always been nice and the service has always been good. But yesterday, it was beyond good! While downloading an iPhone os update in preparation for something special I wanted to save on the phone, everything stopped and the phone went into recovery mode. Not good. I called TBI, and Kelly was so completely patient and kind and sympathetic, it almost made losing all of my phone data okay. Almost. But after carefully listening to me describe what happened, Kelly thought my phone might have been backed up right before it went into recovery. She stayed with me on the phone while I hit the dreaded recovery button. She was correct, and everything was saved. Thank you Kelly and thank you TBI :)

TBI gives great service! I’ve been a customer for many years, and TBI’s service department has never let me down — they’ve solved every issue in a timely and professional manner. Their sales staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. The new location in Norwalk is very convenient, and I’m looking forward to taking some of the courses they now can offer in the expanded space. TBI is a great local resource — thank goodness we have a reliable, nearby Apple store for sales and service, and don’t have to trek to a mall!

Really bad customer service attitude. Quite happy to take the computer and charge for a review but don’t seem capable of actually performing the review or returning phone calls. After 2 weeks without any call, and not returning calls, and not actually looking at the computer enough is enough. It is frustrating that they make promises and don’t follow up. I have experienced a lengthy delay before, but never again. Sorry guys but this is not acceptable.

The people in this little company are HELPFUL, KIND, and reasonably priced! They also try to get your job done in record time. Yesterday I called with a weird MAC issue, and they gave me advice over the phone, step by step instructions, I went home and followed them and fixed my computer issue myself. They aren’t out to rip you off, they are out to WIN your business PERIOD. If giving away free tips and solutions to problems, even though they won’t make a buck that minute, they do! They are not short sighted, nor greedy. They know their stuff! Bravo TBI! You guys are the BEST!
