My first time in have been meaning to try the pizza as takeout. Ordered over the phone was told 25 minutes I arrived 25 minutes later but the pizzas were not ready. The place was not busy there was one other person picking up takeout. Five minutes later I was then informed they didn’t have one of the toppings I ordered for one of the pizzas. I was scratching my head as I expected the pizzas were al It’s done. I had to choose another then wait another ten minutes for the pizza to be finished. Staff was apologetic and friendly. The pizzas themselves were just ok. Both had a chewy doughy crust even though one of the pizzas ordered was billed as a «thin crust Italian» Disappointed Won’t be back.

I don’t normally write reviews on Unilocal, but I was so impressed with the food from Craving Café in Norwell that I wanted to share my great experience. Recently, I was at a friend’s birthday party on the South Shore. The party was a casual gathering outside with a large group of people, and to keep things simple the host served pizza with a homemade side salad. When it came time to eat, I noticed how great the pizza looked… there was an assortment of large pizzas hot and ready to eat. When I asked, I found out the pizza came from Cravings Café in Norwell. There were three kinds of Pizza– Cheese, Peperoni and Greek. Everything was delicious! The toppings on the pizza were very fresh and the pizza was cooked perfectly(not greasy or oily). The Greek pizza was very flavorful with spinach and feta cheese(a great combo) and the Pepperoni pizza was delicious with large slices of pepperoni on each slice. I will definitely order pizza from Cravings Café again when I am back on the South Shore!

I went to a birthday party recently that was catered by Cravings. The pizza was thin crust which is my favorite and very tasty. The traditional cheese and Bianca pizza were my favorites. I look forward to checking this place out next time I’m in the area.

Went for a quick breakfast. The place was empty but it still took 40 minutes for us to get a «Brizza» and a breakfast burrito. Since it took so long we had to eat both in the car. And both were miserable. The breakfast pizza is a dry pizza with egg on top, the burrito we asked multiple times for no onions and was full of em. We will not be back.

I go here often for lunch. Their sandwiches are always delicious and I like that they’ll let you turn anything into a panini! Their baked goods(mmmm cookies) are also yummy and there’s always a good variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

I think this place used to be Sal’s, that being said I’m a little worried about this place, been a few times and the food is just okay, nothing to write home about, very skimpy portions and very little pops of flavour, I have never been in here when there were other customers, I refuse to eat in here cause once I did and I was stared at by not only a guy behind the counter but one of the many girls that work there, it’s kind of weird having somebody watch you intently as you try to eat. It freaks me out. Anyway, it’s okay, it’s in the area, nothing special. Good luck.

Hard to find a good sandwich takeout place, so we decided to give Cravings a try — I got the chicken stirfry wrap, which I thought was really good, and tried my husband’s chicken caesar wrap — also delicious. Tried the chicken bites, and they were good — even my picky-eater-son ate them! We got the red velvet cake for dessert, which would not have been my first choice, but I let my husband do the decision-making and I was not at all disappointed. It was phenomenal and cream-cheesy, and a whole lot prettier than any dessert I’ve ever seen from a pizza/sandwich takeout joint!

I have gone here three times now. The cookies are to die for!!! I love them. The chocolate chip with chocolate on the inside and the raspberry filled. It’s definitely a treat. I have not tried anything else, since I am in love with these cookies. I recommend them highly!

First off, if you are the owner you are going to be biased in what you sell, I get it, but don’t continually tell me that your brownie is the best I’ll ever have without knowing who I am or what I do, secondly when I ask you to stop, don’t keep telling me it’s fantastic. I’ll be the judge of that, don’t get one of your workers who is also biased and possibly in fear of losing her job if she said otherwise to tell me to answer your question to her of «how was that brownie and what did you say about it?» And don’t come out from behind the counter and grab a customer’s arm or any other body part like you did with me to get me to listen to her«response». Next point, your«decadent» brownie was horrible, it was like taking a bite of a pure unsweetened cocoa flavored rice cake, just dry, I took one bite, that was it and sorry I did not eat it, I think the Griswold’s Xmas Turkey was more moist than that, the other thing I bought was a raspberry filed shortbread cookie that upon opening the bag it was in just disintegrated into crumbs, making a mess. Another point, when you have somebody working at the register in this type of business they should know the products that you sell, the process and how to remove the ones in the case that looked like they were smashed. And lastly, where do you get off charging $ 6.58 for this brownie abomination and 2 cookies that were in a big bowl on top of the counter obviously manhandled all day perhaps the week I even asked $ 6.58?, what is that for? Your labels had no ingredients, didn’t warn of nuts, how about a calorie count? All I got was a stare but no answer. In closing we were asked to try this place, as «it’s always busy», but you were dead. Nobody in the place except employees. Look I wish you the best of luck but you will never get any more of my money or see me patronizing yours or any of the other«Craving$» locations. Remember this though, if you are going to boast and tell somebody«It’s the best thing you will ever taste» then though better back it up with customer testimonial other than your own biased opinion.

I frequent Cravings Café in Norwell for their Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad and I highly recommend you do the same. I like to order mine on toasted whole wheat with a little salt & pepper. You’ll love it. $ 7.49 for the sandwich. which seems a little steep but its good so I keep going back. I usually call ahead and order my sandwich to go because the atmosphere feels more like a boring cafeteria, definitely more of a «To go» place for me but I will say the place is always very clean and orderly.

Update !!! Cravings has redeemed itself. My co workers and I got so sick of ordering from the same two establishments close to our salon and decided to try them out again. We have become moderately addicted to their paninis preferably the buffalo chicken and the avacado chicken. Both delicious. They’ve been great lately. I do think it’s kinda bullllll that they charge a delivery fee though especially since we are a 3 minute ride down from them. Aside from that I felt the need I write a better review since we have added them to our list of trustworthy delivery restaurants.
Didn’t really like this place. I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken and it tasted like a fast food salad. The chicken had that warm, just microwaved, flavor to it and the olives confused me. Some were pitted, some were not. I found out«some were not» when after having eaten 2 pitted ones, I nearly broke my tooth on the next one I ate. There were a lot of people in there when i was there and the menu was large, so it will probably please a lot of people. I was just disappointed in my salad. I can get a much better one at my local sub shop.

I came here on the fly being that I was in the area and left creeped out but satisfied in the end. Let me tell you… The place is new, it’s clean, the menu is vast and a bit different than your ordinary sandwich shop that I like as they offer a few unique items such as «cupcakes». Yes, they seem to specialize in cupcakes… it’s a new trend that’s capitalizing all of Eastern Mass for some God awful reason. So from pizza to cupcakes you’re sure to find something to try here. I kept it simple and ordered a cheese burger and fries. This is my test to know if I’ll ever come back to a place or not. As I was sitting down waiting for my order, I couldn’t help but get creeped out by one of the staff who kept staring at me as if I did something wrong. It could have been that she was looking out the window but this was a full on 10 minute uncomfortable glare(honestly she never moved). I smiled… got no response, I nodded in acknowledgement… her glare increased, I didn’t get it. Anyway, I buried my face in my phone until the food came out. I looked on Unilocal to see the reviews and GOFIGURE… someone was complaining about the burgers! I was silently hoping they read the review and made some improvements… Luckily, and to my surprise my cheeseburger was fine and the hand cut fries met par :) I’ll be back to try them again as I wish them success and if they’re reading this, please serve pizza slices!

My new favorite place! We stopped in for breakfast sandwiches(delicious) and ended up returning for dinner. Pizza(the crust was divine) and a huge chef’s salad. The service was enthusiastic and responsive both times AND the restaurant was spotless. My sister had a chicken caesar sandwich and the bread and the filling were top notch. A++++ all the way.

I was so excited to have this a new addition to Norwell, but was very disappointed in our meals that we got from Cravings Café. My son had a cheeseburger, that was clearly a frozen patty. It had a disgusting grayish tint to it, and he barely ate any of it(and this kid usually eats as if he had a hollow leg). The fries that came with it were gross. I had a bland chicken parm. Yuck. My BF had the chicken stir fry and some beef stew. He said both were tasteless. That night he was violently ill. Although we could walk to Cravings, we won’t be going back.
