I have been coming here since they opened and would not go to any other place to get my hair done… it just wouldn’t be right. Everyone here is not only friendly but they do the job right the first time(there is only one time when cutting hair so that’s good). Defiantly the place to come to get your haircut. Stop going to supercuts and get your hair done right.

So I’ve gone to Norwell Clippers a couple of times, my barber Ryan Cushing is a great guy, always friendly and does a fantastic job with whatever cut I’m in the mood for. He always makes sure everything is the way I want it and does a fantastic job, very nice and peaceful area and shop and I will continue to keep going there.

They do a fine job. Had a young barber the first time that I went. He did a great job. Will go back again.

The barber who cut my hair, Ryan, was extremely incompetent. It is not just that he didn’t give me the cut that I requested, but that he made objective mistakes. My hair is lopsided and uneven everywhere. I had to fix it up myself. He displayed none of the usual courtesy – he was rushed from start to finish, and did not hold up a mirror to show me the neckline. I realize now it was because he shaved way too high – another novice mistake. In a few days the back of my neck will be a furry scarf. I can’t say anything about the other barbers – perhaps they are as good as people say. But stick to supercuts or some place where they require certification for all barbers. The problem w places like this is that you could get a pro, or someone who is clueless.

If your looking for a nice local, open concept barbershop with hairdressers and barbers that if you’ve been in more than once they know what cut you want and even straight edge shave! a lot of barbershops have discontinued this service and call it a «lost art» but this shop keeps it alive and well! Price is just right for the variety of services included. Nick Or Doug are my first pick but if they are busy I’ll wait less than five minutes and another chair is open I know the numbers and styles enough to sit at any chair in that shop pay 16 bucks and walk out feeling like 1 Million!

This 5-star review is all for Nick Goba and the owner who was smart enough to hire such a young chap like him. As woman with an undercut, Goba is the only one I ever feel 100% comfortable letting not only fix it up, but do whatever design he wants. I give Goba all artistic power when it comes to keeping that patch fresh. He truly is an artist, ask him to give you a design too.

Nick’s the best at the Norwell Clipper — actually cares about cutting your hair(or your kid’s). The kids Mercedes Benz barber chair wins too!

We just moved back to the S Shore area and my bf was looking for a barber. After doing a couple of drive-bys he decided to go in and give them a shot. The place is much bigger than it looks from the outside and the surfaces are very clean and devoid of clutter. He had the young barber who did a fantastic cut and shave. After we had left, my bf noticed a few stragglers that he had missed and had realized that he had not done his eyebrows. He came back a few hours and it was no problem to get these things fixed. Reasonably priced at $ 16 and ample parking. He will definitely be back.

For years, I went to Supercuts. For some reason, I assumed Norwell Clipper didn’t have great hours. Incorrect. I assumed that NC would be more expensive. Wrong.(It’s cheaper) What I found was a top notch barbershop with a comfortable waiting area, hdtv’s at every barber chair(so cool), and really friendly and talented barbers. I’m never going back to Supercuts.

If you are looking for a Barber Shop on the South Shore, Doug’s Norwell Clipper on Rte 53 is the best place in town. Doug is a long-time Barber and really good at what he does. He employees a couple of younger guys too who are excellent. I have been going there for haircuts for a while but my wife has been taking my 4-year son to the likes of Great Cuts and Snip Its, which is ridiculously overpriced for a 5-minute boys haircut. Yesterday, my son and I sat side-by-side and got our haircuts together. Not only do they give a great haircut, which takes about 15 – 20 minutes, they are personable and can have a conversation about sports and what is going on in the town and in the news. Not too sure the 18 year-old hair«stylist» at the franchise hair cuttery can beat that! And men, you get a warm«old fashioned» shave on the back of the neck. Reasonably priced and worth every penny.

Straight razor shaves and good conversation! The shop has WIFI and plenty of parking. Kids are always welcome and Special events such as Bacholer Parties or special times resvered after hours for Wedding parties at no extra cost is great!
