Why would you close at 4 on a Friday? I don’t get small businesses. Why would you only be open when most of your potential customers are still at work?

Update! Staff is friendly and love coming in! They have some great free classes as well to help learn about improving your health.

Way too expensive for the tiny size. Most healthy juice bars in boston wouldn’t even charge $ 8 for 14 oz. My smoothie was also lukewarm, mediocre and the consistency was thin.

I have been to the The Juice Barn 4x now and I drive about an hour to get there or I swing by when in the area, which unfortunately isn’t often enough. I have always been greeted by very pleasant staff and they are always super helpful when I ask questions about which juice or smoothie I may need that day or the products on their shelves. Yesterday I was greeted by Allie, the owner’s wife and she is very sweet and very knowledgeable. The prices are a bit higher here but you have to remember that this is all organic and organic produce is expensive and SOMUCH better for your body. They also need to make a profit to stay in business so to me my health is worth it and it’s worth it to have a great place like this on the South Shore. I am looking forward to taking one of their nutrition based classes that they offer, more specifically gut health. I have been to other juice bars in the area and there is just no comparison. The price point is worth it because my health is worth it. I hope they last!(by the way, I recommend the Acai bowl and the Metabolism Boost juice. So good)

This place has a great atmosphere. Not only are the decorations great, but the owner is just wonderful– so friendly and informative! And I love that they have lots of informational events. I do have a couple issues though. The first is that the staff is not nearly as friendly or engaging as the owner. The biggest one, however, is I ordered a juice for $ 9.50 expecting it to be around 16oz, but $ 9.50 for maybe 10oz?! You should at least advertise the size. Just because it’s Norwell doesn’t mean that everyone has that kind of money. I have a hard enough time justifying a $ 5 coffee from Starbucks.

I’ve been to The Juice Barn twice now and am totally hooked! I’ve been drawn in by the friendly and knowledge staff and have really enjoyed sampling the wide variety of organic juices and shakes. Striking up a conversation and asking for recommendations is a welcome part of the experience. I’ve learned that each combination of ingredients has been carefully selected based on clinical evidence and appealing flavor. Everything has a purpose and there are no fillers! The story behind my favorite smoothie, Morning Rush, was interesting to hear. They wanted to offer a healthy alternative to a coffee breakfast(which I’d never heard of previously, but multiple friends have admitted to now that I asked), using oatmeal as a primary ingredient to satisfy the stomach and kickstart the metabolism. Too bad you can’t get this at the local coffee shop! Many folks are seeking a healthier lifestyle, and The Juice Barn aims to be part of the solution not the problem. You can tell that they pride themselves in committing to an entirely organic menu. Without harmful chemicals or preservatives, you know that you’re getting the absolute freshest fruits and vegetables. If you’re local to Norwell or just in the area, you should definitely check them out!

This place has the potential to be fantastic. It has a great location and the space inside is well designed and inviting. The staff came across as friendly and helpful during our visit. It looks like they also offer some classes focused on nutrition and healthy living, which is a nice extra. There are a few things, however, which could use some tweaking. Their price point is a bit high at this point. For about $ 9 we got a shake that was maybe 10 oz. the juice bar I usually frequent in Scituate sells their largest shakes for that price. Also, the juices here are not made fresh to order. They are pre-made, and kept for up to 5 days. This may not matter to some people, but others may prefer a freshly made drink for the price. They’ve only been open a week, so I will definitely give it another try in a month or so to see if any changes have been made. Right now, it doesn’t quite hit the mark for me.
