Ok, randomly stopped by this place, perhaps I caught it on an off day. My wife and I each had a lobster roll which was awful! We each had one bite and had to throw them out! They tasted extremely fishy and not fresh. We are used to getting on the Cape at PJ’S no comparison. Maybe there actual steamed lobsters are better…

I am in town from Houston visiting my grandma and she recommending this place. It’s always a treat to have fresh lobster while I’m here. The place as tucked away behind a Jiffy Lube so it can be hard to miss if you aren’t looking. Keep an eve out! The owner was just as sweet as can be! Being an «out of towner» she schooled me on her Lobsters because I had so many questions! She was happy to teach me the difference between a soft shell lobster and just a «regular» lobster. Ha! Soft shells apparently taste better. This Texas girl had no idea! Also the owners husband fishes for the lobsters himself which is neat! The store steamed our lobsters for us, free of charge(will cost if it is over a certain amount of pounds). The lobsters were absolutely delish! The meat was as tender as can be! I don’t think I’ve ever had such well steamed lobsters!!! The meat melted in my mouth. The prices were extremely reasonable and on that note, The Lobster Pot gets 5 stars from me!

Hands down the best, unknown, find south of the city for lobsters, steamers, clams, and seafood. Went to get an oil change next door, and while waiting popped in. Very cool little spot to get fresh lobsters. Ended up getting dinner for family of six, for less than $ 100…10 lobsters, littlenecks, steamers, and about fifteen big gulf shrimp(already cooked), we cooked all that night and it was excellent. Place is not easy to find, but worth looking for. I went back the following week for fresh tuna steaks. Much better and fresher than local supermarket. Staff was friendly and knowledgable.

This small hole-in-the-wall fish market with a Jiffy Lube attached to it has been a fixture in the Queen Anne’s Corner area for decades. My townie neighbors use and praise this market for it’s reasonably priced and succulent lobsters and shellfish. It is a no frills seafood store selling lobsters out of multiple tanks taking half the store. They also have steamers(from Nova Scotia mud beds, sweet and not sandy), blue point oysters, cherrystones, mussels, wild and farmed shrimp, and a few varieties of fish(tuna, swordfish, and salmon that particular day). The owners service the counter and are very friendly and knowledgeable. They also provide services such as steaming the lobsters and shucking the shellfish for a small fee. There was a steady stream of customers but no appreciable line. The lobsters I purchased were lively and tasted very sweet. I turned them into lobster rolls comparable to what I usually eat down in the Cape(the Raw Bar). The steamers were also very sweet, not a bad one in the batch. It’s a low overhead operation so they don’t take credit cards, only cash and checks. My take that day was 4 chix lobsters and a pound and a half of steamers for about $ 36.
