Nordic Skater

I have purchased several nordic packages from these guys and referred several others. Their customer service, advice and expertise has been excellent. I help run our local nordic center and will continue sending these guys my business!

Nordic Skater helped us order the gear we needed with lots of patience and advice. They know the sport and what’s available. We ended up buying their packages with a few add-​ons. Prices were very competitive and we were very happy with the whole experience.

I had an excellent experience dealing with josh, Jamie and staff! I have gone through two separate other type of skates (purchased elsewhere) hoping to learn to cross-​country ski by this winter. Well, I happened upon the
website, and saw they had 3-​wheeler skates with speed control and a breaking system. So I sent an inquiry email. I got a call from Josh who was so very helpful in recommending the V2 Aero XL 150 RC skates, that I opted to rent them for two weeks as that was an option with them. Well, my 1 st time out was amazing! The speed controllers really helped me in keeping at a pace in which I was comfortable. I promptly called up Nordic Skate and paid to keep the skates. I’m really confident that come winter, I will be able to begin cross– country skiing! But first, I plant on a trip to Nordic Skate in VT. This August where I will have the wonderful people there find the perfect skis for my upcoming winter fun!
All I can add is that if you want to learn to ski and can’t even skate, give these guys a call! They are just plain awesome, I wish all shops were as helpful and outgoing as these fine folks at Nordic Skate! I’ve been roller skiing for over 30 years. I live of all places in St. Louis that hardly gets any snow, forcing me to roller ski 95% of the time. I came across Nordic Skater from an on line search and have purchased V-2’s, Skikes’ and snow skate skiis. I was impressed with the questions asked prior to the sale in terms of getting the right item that I wanted. In other words their interest in helping narrow down my focus was instrumental in getting the product that I needed. Bottom line is I wanted to purchase a new pair of roller skiis, didn’t know what I needed and was led to a pair that fits my workout level, interest, and goals. They have a good return policy too.
Great option for those with the love of snow and asphalt!

I needed a pair of skate skis and was having a hard time finding what I wanted in my size and not getting much help from some of the places I tried. I called Nordic Skater, and they asked me to send a photo of my boots. They got back to me right away and gave me advice about which skis to buy, which were actually less money than the ones I was considering. They know a lot about nordic skis. The skis came quickly, and they were perfect. Everyone at the store is knowledgable and polite. Will definitely buy my equipment there from now on.
