Tulli’s Family Pizza

We read other reviews and tried this place because I wanted seafood and my husband wanted pizza and they have both. I’m SO glad we did as the clam dinner I had there was the best meal I had in my trip to CT and the best clams I’ve ever had. Seriously! The clams were tender and not a bit chewy with the most delicate and crispy breading you can imagine. The meal came with fries and coleslaw for under $ 10! The atmosphere is casual-​diner and it’s located in a part of town tourists likely don’t frequent. Well worth the trip.

Always awesome food with great service, it’s a hidden gem for breakfast and their specials are amazing.

I’m a little embarrassed writing this due to how often I frequent this place. I would just like to say that no, the$ 60 worth of food I am frequently picking up is not for me.
I discovered this place late at night one night due to pregnancy cravings for potato skins. I literally googled «Norwich potato skins» and this wonderful establishment was the first result on Google. And I am so glad my cravings (fate) brought us together.
Myself and the whole staff at my office have ordered so much of this menu that I’ll just cover it by saying the food is consistently good. Family pizza joints in New England are a dime a dozen but the issue is they are rarely consistent nor is every item on the menu good.
Tulli’s is the exception. Salads are massive and fresh, the clam strips are fresh, pizza is delicious, grinders large and filling, chicken fingers are massive, and the potato skins… worth the Google search.
I’m sure I’ll be in sometime this week, picking up another massive order :)

Went for breakfast. 3 stars is about right. Portuguese omelette was good but they serve the kind of omelettes that are like egg crepes instead of «fluffy».
Home fries were average.

Have been to this establishment multiple times because it is convenient to our home. Nearly Every time we’ve eaten here the food and service has been spectacular. The experience that comes with the Tulli family shows!

Love the breakfast. Nice family, who I grew up next to Tulli! Look forward to visiting and going with parents to enjoy breakfast. The service is very nice and food is delivered promptly. I also believe they have special bread that tastes great. I’m not a bread person, but with butter YUMMM!

This is a great place any time of day. Have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner even have had delivery several times. Food is great staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Food is very good. Wait staff is also very friendly and helpful. Ordered a half and half pizza which was incredible and a Mario’s favorite… so good. Definitely worth a visit… or teo

Have been here three times now and can happily say «Yay I’m a fan» Once for pizza, great crust, generous toppings, high-​quality cheese. We have been twice for breakfast and enjoy the fast friendly service and fresh made food for a decent price.
They have some fun music playing low in the background, giving it a nice, upbeat vibe.
There is a business next to them called G&P that blasts techno music and you can hear the base come through the walls somewhat if you sit near the wall– but it only slightly detracts from an otherwise really good restaurant that we will definitely visit again.

Ordered out here tonight and I have to say this is our pizza spot. NY style not the same olé Greek wanna be I highly recommend the calzones. I asked that our pizzas be bricked and they were perfectly done. Hidden gem that may surprise you. I will be going back. And they deliver.

The BBQ Chicken Pizza is outstanding, always excellent every time I have gone. They also catered an event at our church in Norwich and did an outstanding job.

I just happened to be looking up todays specials and saw this page to comment. We got to Tullis about twice a week and everything is always great! You can ask for things done differently and it’s never a problem. My favorite is a special they make Thanksgiving wrap and have it with Sweet Potato Fries. Staff is always the best!!!

My husband and I go here or get delivery at least once a week. Everything is always super fresh! I can be picky about lettuce and veggies in salads, but theirs is always perfect! Also… cannolis! We love the pizza and sandwiches too.

I recently stopped in to Tullis on a very rainy day. The specials noted a French onion soup so I thought I would try it. I also ordered a cup of tea and a garden salad.
The salad was full of fresh crunchy veggies and was a generous size for a side salad. I had the house creamy garlic — it was good but felt it was missing something, but maybe that’s just me. I usually have a vinaigrette and this wasn’t vinegary at all so maybe that was what I was missing.
The French Onion soup was delicious. Topped with a large slice of crunchy French bread and Swiss cheese the soup was not thin but full of onion and the broth was thicker than most — it was perfect. Very flavorful and delicious. I would order it again in a heart beat.
Service was quick and cheerful. I will be stopping back in again when I am in the area. One thing is that there were no booths but only tables. I would suggest putting in a few booths.

My boyfriend and I decided to try someplace new and we were super glad we did! The service was really great, our waitress was amazing! The clam fritters were super yummy and the buffalo chicken pizza was awesome. We were so full we got two cannolis to go and we were not disappointed. We can’t wait to go back and try more things. We definitely have found a new favorite place!

Excellent! great food, friendly service. The waitress was sweet and very welcoming. Mac and Cheese pizza was awesome !! Laura’s special was delicious too. Home made cannoli to top it off.

Go for the cannoli and stay for the Pizza!
New place, the interior is much brighter and welcoming than the old joint that was there. The pizza and grinders are good but nothing extraordinary, solid and traditional. The Mac and Cheese pizza is something you don’t see everyday and is a nice alternative to the usual fare.
This is one of the few places that makes their own cannoli and if really pays off. Most place thaw out the frozen cannoli and serve. Here, they use a good North End recipe and the freshness can’t be beat. Like the other reviewer, I’d like to see a soda fountain system and perhaps even some wine and beer options. I’d say its probably the best place for take out in this side of the city.

on our way home from shopping on a recent saturday my son and i and his buddy were looking for a late lunch i had heard good things about this place so we gave it a shot being close to home was a plus for those of you who remember our beloved eli’s pizza that’s where its located the inside is pretty much the same but with new paint scheme and booths the menu is not huge but everything you’d find in a pizza house our server her name was karen was pleasant and prompt sat us and took our drink order now probably my only real complaint is that they only serve bottled soda now i usually drink a lot of soda when i’m eating i know i shouldn’t but i do and i know i’m not alone because my son does it too and his buddy i noticed if your a family coming in with a bunch of kids and nobody wants to drink water it can add up fast i actually avoid some places because they don’t serve free refills and want to charge you like your at a patriots game for a can of diet coke but that’s just me and it probably wont keep me from going back because i liked the place we started out with a app a order of onion rings which was good for three of us my son ordered meatballs and shells which came with a salad which was fresh with a slight variety of veggies and garlic bread the friend got a philly cheese steak pizza he said it was one of the best hes had and it was pretty good and i got a order of fish and chips but with sweet potato fries all the food was very good came out hot and quickly actually the only complaint which wasn’t really a complaint was the food was too hot portion sizes were generous now prices were ok for the most part but some things seemed a little high to me while others seemed to be on par with other places so in a nut shell i was happy and i would go back ill just bring my own tank of soda next time
