Was craving mexican and found this place. Waitstaff was very friendly and pleasant. I was a little turned off by the Presidente Margarita I ordered. It tasted good so that was the upside, but it was filled to half glass. Served half empty with an old brown lime on the side. Not a great presentation. I looked around and saw they serve everyone half empty glasses. In my opinion they should either buy smaller glasses or fill them & charge more. The food was ok. I ordered a seafood enchilada. Had imitation crab in it and had a strong fishy taste. Again, I’d rather pay more for real seafood. Nice people, but the whole place seemed a little low rent.

Definitely my favorite place to come for fresh guac! I love that they make it table side and it’s a big portion for the price. Their salsa is also really good, it has chunks of onion and tomato. I’m a picky eater so I usually don’t stray from my usual choices but everything I’ve had has been yummy. I like that pico de gallo comes with almost every dish. We are regulars so there are a few servers who know us which is nice because they’re so welcoming. Regardless, the service is always great. Everyone is very quick and attentive.

What a lovely first impression we had at this restaurant! The staff was super friendly. Everyone that walked past you, greeted you with a friendly«hola» and a smile. I really enjoyed my meal here. The atmosphere was really welcoming. We went here to celebrate a birthday. What an awesome birthday surprise it was! A big sombrero, and a happy birthday song in different languages.

Been coming here for years, food is really good and can’t really beat the price. Place gets PACKED some nights but we have only ever sat at the bar so can’t speak to the table servers. The bartenders are amazing, even remembering what you order the next time you come back. The margaritas are outstanding and always made well. Sometimes the bar service can be slow but understandable with the amount of drinks they have to make when the place is slammed. They get 4 starts because twice I have tried ordering takeout and each time didn’t go well. If you’re looking for some good Mexican food and some awesome margaritas, give this place a shot.

From Southwest in AZ and no Mexican Restaurant is the same, Been living in Boston for 6yrs now. Tried over 15 Mexican, Tex Mex, Cantinas… in the Boston area and nothing compares. This place was defiantly a winner, they have sopapillas, fried ice cream, churros, is a plus many to choose from Margaritas, frozen/ice. The food was great I had the House Enchiladas w\Refried beans & rice. My bf the Chili Colorado he devoured it. Employees where fast and friendly. Manager was pleasant and helping. Great service and we be back soon since we live in Dedham!

Pleasantly surprised! I have been to other locations and was just not as thrilled but this one is a winner! Service was friendly, fast, accurate and all around pleasing. They did not rush our dinner and allowed us time to chat. The Blackberry Margarita hit the spot and was not too strong but did the job just right. I loved my quesadilla(I was able to treat myself to something I normally wouldn’t order, but allowed a treat and so happy I did!). My friends were pleased with their food as well and I brought home some takeout for my boyfriend and he devoured it as was also pleased as well. I think I would prefer to go to this location if I am craving some Mexican inspired food in the future. Happy that this location did not dissapoint!

Amazing amazing amazing! Service is great, staff is really friendly, portions are large, the food is delicious, drinks are pleasantly strong, and there’s LIVE music that brought back beautiful memories of my grandfather listening to his favorite tunes. Thanks for a fantastic night.

I can’t even begin… the staff sucks!.. half the employees live above me in a small two bedroom. They act like it’s WWE wrestling. Falling all over the floor banging into walls, consant noise every night. Nothing like wake up out of a sound sleep at 2, 3, 4 am… I can’t imagine spending any of my hard earn money in that place. It is unfortunate.

To be fair, 2 years ago we would have given this restaurant a strong 5 stars but has been slightly lacking in some areas. 5 stars have from me is huge because I know and say what is spectacular and what burns my buns(pun) We have been to 3 or so other Acapulco and none were close to this one on rt 1. So First in the past food was great prices were great and service was great. They give you Free salsa and Tortilla chip Great! Even brought more. Chips standard thickness salsa thick and full of veggies and flavor. Now 2÷18÷2016 We have been finding salsa for the last few years very watery gets all over the place(agree with Mike W). Chips last night were paper thin. I normally get the Fajita Quesadilla. Was a bit thinner and lacked the cheese filling normally tieing everything together. Comes with Sour cream and guacamole(love this part) but Bland to me so used some salsa to add some zest and juice. My daughter got the Chimichanga and was full to the brim with chicken and she loved it 8)(this restaurant is always her first choice when we go out. Persnickety, like her dad!). We don’t go out often to eat. unsure what my wife received but it looked good. We will go again and see what changes. Service was ok last night but is normally, as someone else said, Amazing. They were not as busy as normal and I can’t help thinking others are feeling the same way. Normally a line almost out the door. but it was a holiday week. Understand prices have increased on everything but my meal has increased 3+ dollars in 4 years and not as good. Will re-review next visit. Please see what you think and post thoughts and ideas

First and foremost, the service is amazing! Went there for a birthday party and our waiter was absolutely friendly and worked hard. He got everything asked from him and went above and beyond! I think his name was Jose. Good Job Buddy! However, the food was lacking flavor. They quesadilla was dry and the salsa was marinara I think. I know a few people that love this place and probably ordered other things but my experience with the quesadilla wasn’t a WOW experience.

Was starving at 8 pm last night and didnt feel like doing the noisy bar/restaraunt thing ala Joes or Boston Beer on rt 1 near norwood. Saw Acapulcos said lets do it and hlad we did. Affordable and filling. Fresh chips and salsa to nibble, then the main dishes. Mrs got fish tacos of which I of course nailed pne. Nice spicy tarter sauce! I got a combo of chicken chimichanga and a shredded beef burrito. Nice rice and refried beans. I washed it down with a Bud Lite draft and of course helped with the mojito. Was able to watch the Celtics almost beat the GS Warriors on the bar TV that i had positioned myself to see. Service was attentive and friendly. Next time I’m back up from Florida I will hit it again.

I ordered out from here and I’m never going back. I usually dine in and the food is usually pretty good but first off they messed up my order, I asked for two Cancun Chicken Chimichangas. Very simple order. We get home to cut into them and their both ground beef. And thenI CHOKEDON A BONE!!! I threw up inside my whole plate I called them and they did nothing! In fact Jeraldo the manager said to send him a picture of it and he called back to say it’s ‘a piece of dry pepper’ I told him do you know what ‘the customer is always right’ means? I told him I’m going back to get reimbursed, bringing him the bone that I choked on and never going back there again. Horrible customer service.

This place is hit or miss. I like the food but some of the reviews say this isn’t genuine Mexican so I guess I don’t know what I am talking about. I like the El Paso Chimichanga. This time we got the flan for dessert too which was delish. The thing I didn’t care for this time around was the service. The server who waited on us we have had before and he was fine. There is one server that is exceptional but unfortunately we weren’t lucky enough to sit in his section this time. I could see the server that we were sat with rushing around the restaurant when we came in. He was eazy to spot because every one else was relaxed. He was the only one that thought the sky was falling. Being that it was 4:30 on a Friday evening I didn’t see a crowd in the restaurant that warranted him running around like he was. Maybe he was anticipating the crowd that would be arriving. Not sure but I just know how we were treated by this man with only 5 or 6 tables occupied and multiple orders I ordered an unsweetened Iced tea. My friend said her drink order would be a little more complex than that. Meaning something alcoholic. Not sure what he thought she meant but he was like well hopefully not too complex. I am really busy. So right there we were like ok and looked at each other in disbelief because the way he said it was just rude. He was trying to rush us through the order so much so that he screwed up the dish I got for myself and my son and our dessert order. He wasn’t letting us complete a sentence. I wanted a beef chimichanga. I got chicken. I wanted beans and rice with my son’s chicken fingers and he brought me fries. That I noticed right away and had him correct it but the chicken Chimichanga I ended up eating in the interest of getting out of there in a timely manner. We had 3 children under 4 with us. I did bring it to his attention afterward about the Chimichanga but there was no apology or anything. HEWASTOBUSY!!! He was running all over that restaurant like a maniac. If he would have slowed it down a bit he would have gotten those orders right and saved his sanity. He probably screwed up other people’s orders too. I also saw him cutting in front of customers snd then going oh excuse me after he had already done it. Really rude. I like the food but I think next time I’ll take it over to the Château. They know how to treat customers. I consider going out to eat a luxury. Not something I have the money to do a lot so when I am treated like a hinderance for no valid reason by the person who is supposed to make it a wonderful experience for me, I have a problem with that. I was going to complain to the restaurant but after reading these other reviews it sounds like we aren’t the only ones. A good restaurant owner checks social media and other sites for this stuff. An even better one does something about it.

To start, the service was AWESOME. No doubts there. I would give the service a 5. But the food is what brought the rating down. It seemed mediocre and could definitely use more seasoning. Salt would be good. The meal certainly cured the craving for Mexican food, though. Salsa isn’t bad and there’s a good variety of dishes.

went on a Sat night meal time; it was busy but we got seated instantly. waiter was a little blunt but got the job done. food came quickly without an issue and the portions were quite sizable! either that or half the basket of chips and taquito bites filled us up. i couldn’t finish my entrée of shrimp Portuguese, hub couldn’t finish his carnita entrée. Unfortunately, between the rich sauce on his plate and the previous deep fried items, his reported a heartburn, which he never had an episode before no matter how much he had consumed. packed the rest and ordered a flan to go. total came to $ 50; got a $ 12 for $ 20 groupon which they happily accepted. it was just a little odd that you were asked to write down that voucher number, exp date, and your own name on the receipt instead of them just hitting«redeem» on your phone. guess there’s first time to everything. to be honest i’m not a huge fan of Mexican food to begin with, but hub is. with this in the neighborhood, wouldn’t mind coming back, esp with a deal. $ 50 for a meal and half between the two of us wasn’t bad either!
