We are kind of new to the area and I’m so glad we decided to try this tonight. I found my new favorite pizza, the habanero. I was expecting it to be too spicy but it was delicious! I can’t wait to finish my leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We had a decent meal from Giorgio’s Pizza. The place is located on Washington St. in Norwood and parking was a bit of a bear for take-out. We ordered a large cheese, a small veggie pizza and a caesar salad. On the plus side, the Pizza wasn’t too greasy and had a decent crispiness to it. The veggie pizza was the best part and was packed with flavors from the broccoli, tomatoes, black olives and mushrooms. The large pizza was a respectable, regular cheese pizza. In a family with kids who do not eat crusts, I usually clean-up, but the crusts were approaching a rock consistency and the taste was not scrumptious, so I had to pass on the opportunity. The caesar salad looked like iceberg, but was romaine. It was average. I’d say we might be back down the road, but there are so many other pizza places to try, they are a dime a dozen.

Love the chicken and broccoli alfredo pizza. In fact I wish I had one now. All the pizzas we have gotten have been delicious. Sometimes there is a longer wait time but we feel it’s worth it. If they say 30 minutes we go in at 40 minutes. So what’s the big deal.

Giorgio’s makes me sick. I waited twice the time I was told it would take, was hung up on twice in the process, and had to reheat the half of the meal that wasn’t so poorly done to become dog food.

First it needs to be said the pizza was great. It really was. A large was enough to easily feed three of us for lunch. That being said, the three of us spent the evening in our respective bathrooms cursing the name Giorgio. Beyond that aspect, the place was pretty good. The staff was nice. The place was clean.

Amazing pizza joint in Norwood. I didn’t get quite a great impression, when I walked in. The seating area is quite small and the buildings interior seemed old and not as welcoming, as I would have preferred. But the staff, the guy and girl(my receipt says John) at the register were both super friendly, and made my order to perfection. I ordered a cheeseburger(plain), with onion rings. The burger was incredible. Delicious and large. Onion rings were same, also great(and huge!)… I wish they would have added more, but for $ 6.50, it was a great deal for a great meal. The others in my party were also satisfied completely and also agreed it was a 5 star pizza spot. Will need to visit this place more often. 5 stars.

Ordered chicken broccoli Alfredo, the Alfredo sauce just tasted like cream could taste any cheese flavor whatsoever. Barely any broccoli. Maybe there pizza is better but I should have known something was strange when they only offered spaghetti or shells.

tldr; i ordered a buffalo chicken pizza that tasted great. They’re small staff gets bogged down fast because they aren’t very organized so call in your order and show up a little early to get it out of the oven. Don’t bother with online orders or delivery unless you have hours to kill. I’ve read the reviews of the people saying their orders took extremely long to be delivered and arrived cold so i was skeptical to place an order. I ordered through Unilocal for pickup to be on the safe side and to get hot pizza but received a text message saying that my pizza will take 45 minutes to be ready because the restaurant was busy but since the restaurant is 17 minutes away i left anyway. I arrived and there was literally not a soul in the entire restaurant except for the staff which I thought was weird and the woman said my pizza would be out shortly which I also thought was weird because i was 20ish minutes early. I got my buffalo chicken pizza with 10 minutes to spare and it was prepared exactly as I ordered it and it was actually really good but didn’t stay warm for very long so I’m glad I showed up when I did.

I’m sad to say that giorgio’s is not as good as it used to be. I’m not sure if it’s under new management(the man who is behind the counter is always very friendly and nice– I really want to give him my business!) but the food doesn’t seem as good. We will give it one more try but I’ve been disappointed the last few times.

Placed an order an hour ago, called and they told me it still wasn’t ready despite a half hour estimate. Will update once the order is finally here, but the customer service could use some work Update: I AMSTILLWAITING… going on an hour and 40 minutes now. Unbelievable Update 2: food finally arrived, cold, for a total wait time of 1:47. Food probably would have been good if it was even lukewarm but I had to microwave it to make it edible.

I visit my mother in law every week(45 minutes away) and always order georgios for dinner. The calzone is where it’s at but my hubby will argue for the cheeseburger pizza(he adds pickles). The prices are great where we can both get a small and keep it under $ 20 and usually don’t have much leftover!

Best calzone I have ever had. A little pricey but worth it. Would like to see some specials offered from time to time. I have them on speed dial and have infected the rest of my coworkers with the love of Giorgios Pizza.

Had to put one star to log it but No stars, this place sucks. Ordered pizza at 6:15 for delivery and the man who took my order said 15 minutes, which I thought was fast but was optimistic. An hour later when no delivery came we call back and the man explains there’s one driver and it wouldn’t be more than ‘fifteen minutes, twenty max’ 7:45 still no delivery. We call to cancel and the lady who answers decide to say we are wrong and we were told an hour… So why at 7:45 do we not have food? Awful awful place will never order from them again. And will encourage all my friends to order elsewhere. ****UPDATE**** As unhappy as I am with this place I am very satisfied with the owner, he called to personally apologize. That was very thoughtful and they deserve a start for his effort! Wish the rest of his staff was as committed as he is.

Very few places have fun food to eat. But what I can Tell you is that the staff is amazing! Food is delicious. Not fun only but delightful. This is the second time here. Yes I Willie coming back. The website does no justice. You have to come in and smell it. I had through Bourbon steak pizza and the little rascal sub. Amazing! :-) come and enjoy it.

Best pizza I’ve had in a while! Lots of variety of pizza and subs all made fresh. I’m really picky when it comes to pizza and I truly believe they have the best in town. Highly recommend them!

Pizza is pretty subjective, but Giorgio’s has never let me down. You get fresh ingredients and quality sauce on a nice thin crust. The pizzas cook in a conveyor belt oven, which might turn some people off, but I had no complaints. The main reason I’ll go back to Giorgio’s(even though there are half a dozen pizza shops within a half mile radius of Norwood Center) is that they’ve always been really nice to me. It’s a simple thing that is often overlooked by takeout places. They are courteous on the phone when taking my order and they are just generally friendly when I walk in to pick up my pizza. They asked how I was doing and if I needed plates or silverware; being considerate goes a long way. Let’s be real; there’s only so much someone can do to «enhance your experience» at a takeout pizza shop, but these guys did it and that’s worth noting. Thanks, Giorgio’s!
