Regardless of your fitness level, Jazzercise offers a fun workout in a very supportive environment. Classes are made up mostly of women, but there is an occasional man in class. Participants are of all sizes and ages. Instructors offer modifications for those staring out or those who have restrictions from injuries or those who just want a lower impact option. The floor also has padding which assists in absorbing some impact. The instructors are great here and they have classes all day– so it’s easy to find one that fits your schedule. You can expect choreography that’s fairly easy to learn after a few visits with great verbal cueing from an instructor on stage(so everyone can see the movements well). The first part of class focuses on cardio but the last few songs are focused on core and strength. The music is great! Many of the songs are top 40 but you can expect a few country songs and oldies. Give Jazzercise a try, you’ll probably like it and the group here will likely be very welcoming– I was hooked after visit 1!
