On Time Taxi Service

This morning, I had a great experience with On Time Taxi.
I’m a frequent commuter rail passenger so I’m used to local taxi companies being unreliable or super expensive.
This morning’s experience was a pleasant surprise.
I called On Time ahead of getting to my commuter rail destination.
My driver’s name was Abdul. He picked me up at the Norwood Central station and drove me to the Courtyard Marriott. He showed up literally right as my train was pulling in. Perfect timing. He was extremely friendly, open about rates and careful on the road. We had a great conversation during our relatively short ride and I told him I’d likely need a ride back. He guaranteed the ride back wouldn’t be a problem. He also overestimated how much my ride would be, so when I got to the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t owe as much as I thought I would.
Here’s the thing… I never expect the same service twice from the same company. It’s almost always a crapshoot. You might get a different driver or a different quality of service the second time around. Not with On Time.
When I called to be picked up and brought back to the commuter rail, Abdul showed up again.
Again, on time. Again, super friendly and professional. If all of their drivers are like Abdul, you’re in good hands in the backseat of their cars.
It can be a headache to commute without a car in the suburbs when you rely on others.
Save yourself the headache if you’re in the Norwood area. Call On Time. Ask for Abdul.
Trust me.

Anyone who is thinking of using this cab service should be careful. I was almost rearended by on of the companies minivans in Franklin this morning and then the driver proceeded to run 2 red lights while looking at his phone.

There was a slight delay being picked up for our ride to the airport but our return pickup went great. Mohammed was our driver and he was fabulous. He was in contact with us the moment our plane touched down. We had to wait just one minute for him to pull up to the curb.
The ride home was smooth with lively conversation. Will will definitely contact On Time Taxi for our next transportation needs.

Called at 3:15 on Sunday Dec 21^st because I needed a ride to Logan Airport from Sharon. Driver came exactly at 4 PM as promised. Car was spotless, driver pleasant and professional. I would definitely use them again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, better yet negative stars would be even better. I had my friend call this place to get home from work because he didn’t want to wait 2 – 3 hours for a ride since he hurt his leg. He called them and they said 40 minutes. Well, we’re still waiting on the cab. They didn’t even call to say they wouldn’t be coming, no courtesy at all. They were to pick him up at PANERA BREAD in walpole, not TACO BELL in walpole, not CHILIS in walpole, not COUNTRY BUFFET in walpole, it was PANERA BREAD! You know the one with the big logo of bread on it? Thank you so much for you «on time» service. You guys are just so wonderful with your no-​show, no-​courtesy-​call, never-​come-​at-​all policy. Much appreciated. We’re still waiting for you. Take all the time you want. By all means.
