Unbelievable store. The owner is an extremely friendly lady and very knowledgable. I went In to buy something for my girlfriend and she helped me out more than I could have imagined. High quality items, great service are just a couple components of the splendid experience I had

Great items, great store, great prices… I have no idea why this store gets such an awful review… Lisa– the owner, is a wonderful woman who really cares about business and will go above and beyond for her customers. I’m sure there’re explanations behind these complaints listed above. There’re always 2 sides to every story. To the other reviews– if you don’t want to sell your clothes– then don’t! She is doing you a favor by selling your clothes in the store. If she is so «bad» then don’t bring your clothes to her. She really appreciates all the business she gets. This is what I know.

It is with great regret that I write this review to share my experience at the«Twice is Nice“consignment shop. For starters, Lisa, consignment shop owner, is not«nice» at all. In fact, her behavior is quite disturbing. She presented as pleasant upon our initial encounter. However, that quickly changed on October 7, 2013, after she agreed to sell six of my high end designer clothing items that I entrusted her with. She informed me that once sold, I would receive 50% of the proceeds. She also indicated that if not sold within 30 days, the price would be reduced to a discounted rate. Following the 30 days, I made numerous attempts to reach Lisa by phone to check on the status, but to no avail. I left multiple messages with no returned calls. I made one final attempt and was able to reach her and she said that business had been slow and that she had NOT sold any of my clothes. I visited the store a week later only to find three of the six items still on the rack. However the remaining three were missing. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued shopping and told her that I’d follow up with her on or before December 7, 2013 which is when the contract ended. I visited the store at 4:45pm on December 7, 2013. Lisa presented as nervous and withdrawn and rudely informed me that her shop was closed and that she could not help me, though her door was not locked and the sign in the window read«open’. Lisa proceeded to help her customer who was in line and again I browsed throughout the store looking for my belongings. Again, I was able to retrieve three of the six items and she told me to get out of her store and that I should never return again. She then asked for my contract so she could look for the remaining three items when she has time and that when she found she would leave them in the floral shop next door. I declined her offer and requested that she return my clothes or give me the money for them immediately. Again, she refused. This is the most poorly run establishment that I have ever seen. Why she is still in business is beyond me!!! She yells and screams and is extremely troubled and unprofessional! Customers beware!!!

Run don’t walk away from this consignment shop! I have never given a bad review of a business because I always try to find something redeeming. If I have a unsatisfactory experience I just don’t go back and leave it at that. I am compelled to leave a poor review for this business because the experience was so awful that I’m not sure how they are able to stay in business. The owner«luckily» selected one of my items to put up for sale. I asked her how would I know if it sells and would she call? She replied that she had too many customers to keep track. That should have been a warning for me to exit stage right but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. The agreement was that it was for a two month period, and she would decide the amount of the sale. After the first month, she would be dropping the price half price. If your item didn’t sell, you would need to get it or it would be offered to charity. I called her in the first month to check on status and she rarely picks up the phone. When I finally reached her, she was too busy to talk and she would call back. No call back nor a return phone call to my message. Similarly she was unresponsive in the second month, so I have no clue whether my item has sold. Finally the two months are up, and I go in to the store to settle our account. I’m completely aggravated at this point but try to be on my best behavior and respectfully ask about my item. She produces it, but gives me major attitude. A friend that had also dropped off some clothing items with me has some of her items unaccounted for and needs to go back to settle. You decide for yourself what kind of racket is probably going on. I’m just saying.

Unfortunately, I cannot give this store no stars. I recently brought some things in for evaluation to see if any would sell. Almost all of them still had the tags on them. The owner could not have been more rude or insulting. She said I had to make an appointment and Saturday was too busy. It was as if I had some nerve being these. Ok, I could understand that. She then said she would take a quick look. She opened the box and is the loudest voice, said, «THESESTINK!» She said it twice, She asked me if I smoke. I said I did. However, everyone in the store looked at me as though I had terrible body odor. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. A simple«No, thanks» would have sufficed. There was no reason to be so rude or humiliating.
