I have had good experiences with the Wine Press. I have been there about 5 times and have come away satisfied each time. During my first visit, I had a list of wines to buy. The clerk took his time and reviewed the list with me and found a few of the wines on the list. He was patient and unhurried. Each of my more recent visits were satisfactory. They have a large wine inventory. Their prices are fairly good. You would need to go to a big retailer to get better prices.
I look at «barrie’s» unfortunate issue with the beer to be unusual given the courtesy they have shown me. I would be comfortable suggesting the Wine Press to others.

This is the poorest run and most unfriendly business there is.
Purchased beer which was bad. When tried to return with receipt
the same day, the attendant stated the policy is only returns if manager is present. It took 4 days and many phone calls to meet with this manager who then said no returns.
They lost our family business as well as anyone else we can tell not to go there and shop for their alcohol. So many good liquor/​beer/​wine
stores around why waste your time at a place that is not happy to have your business.
