I called about an exclusive Keepsake Ornament the day it was available during Hallmark’s Open House. I was told that there were several available. There was no indication to me that the store had closed for the evening or anything like that. When I called back to verify the location, I was rudely told they were closed for the evening and only those people who had an invitation could visit the store. The invitation was based on how much you spent in the store. Really? So I was ready and willing to purchase something from them, and I wasn’t allowed to shop. Ridiculous.

I go here for their chocolates. Chocolates are locally made and they are rich and absolutely delicious! The cards and other cute stuffs are plus too!

This is the first Hallmark store I’ve ever visited that had never heard of Fresh Ink. For those who might not be familiar(or have had the privilege of receiving a card from me), these cards are square and usually have a simple message. Most times they’re really witty and seem to fit every one of my moods. Anyway, once I got beyond that I looked around and found a few cards I liked. When I went to pay my grandmother commented to the cashier that she doesn’t buy her cards here because they’re cheaper next door at the dollar store. Apparently the cashier does the same thing and continued talking with my grandmother about how silly it is to spend so much for cards. I left and apologized for wasting my money on such a stupid purchase(because that’s pretty much what she was telling me). WTF?!?
