Chase Bank

It appears that Chase Bank wants its cake and eat it too, by showing that a transaction is pending after business hours, but posting transactions on the same day of purchase if there are insufficient funds, even if the funds are deposited while the transaction is pending. Then, on the other hand, Chase will delay posting of transactions if the number (5) of transactions qualifies the customer for waiver of monthly fee. Chase will tell you that it’s the vendor that does the posting, but that proves not true by Strategically timed postings which result in unjust enrichment for Chase, and financial injury to its customers.
In sum, Chase will post immediately when a deposit is pending so that it can charge you $ 34 overdraft fee, and also, it will delay posting if immediate posting qualifies the customer for the monthly Service fee waiver by having done five debit card transactions. Shame!

I did not visit inside the branch this time. I used the atm, however I have been inside the branch before. The customer service is always 5 star. They Associates are quick to recognize your presence. Even if they cannot be with you right away they are sure to make you feel that you are not ever forgotten which is very comforring. Each Associate is dressed business appropriate. I truly appreciate the time and energy they are willing to put in to ensure that you are made to feel welcome and that you understand what is available to you.
