Anyone who owns a house in Novato should run away from these people! As a renter I had to pull my application today because of the unorganized, unfriendly staff. Beth was in no way helpful with her smug attitude. Went in to ask about my application Beth made me feel so uncomfortable, I asked for it back. Not to mention should wouldn’t relay our counter offer to the owner, said it wouldn’t be fair for him.(why is that Beth, does that come out of your pocket?) In no way shape or form should anyone do business with these people. Negative stars is RIGHT!

If you are a home owner please don’t trust this company to have your best interest. They have terrible customer service. I went to see a condo and the girl who showed it was not a people person she seemed very irritated to be there. We loved a house wanted to rent it despite her attitiude. We turned everything in and they told us they would get to it later. Beth and Ron must hate to work, they are lazy and could care less if they rent properties. The property and many others that are listed by them have been on the market for two months or more now I know why! They are the problem. Beth is very angry and rude hope you stay away from this place.

Property management is a tough business and Dalmon is an excellent source of rentals in the Northern Marin County area. As a commercial property broker I refer my clients to Dalmon Property Management when they are looking for management in Novato. They are excellent with my clients, rent the vacant units in a timely manner, and are professional to a fault. I applaud Joe Dalmon and all the hard working rental agents that consistently perform at the highest level in this challenging rental market.

Too bad there is not a spot for negative stars. This company is the most unethical, crooked and down right rude business I have ever dealt with. They took confidential information such as W-2 and bank statements, which is fine, but when the house wasn’t rented they REFUSED to give that information back! They said they were«keeping it on file». for what?!? We would never deal with them again. The lady at the office actually hung up on my mom. Please save yourself the aggravation and don’t deal with them.

Actually 3.5 stars… I’m rounding up. We rented a house from Dalmon for a little over fiver years, and for the most part, we were satisfied with this agency. Our complaints,(electrical snafus, dryer acting up, an unwelcome rat visitor, etc…) through the years were dealt with quickly and without hassles. The once a year walk thru was new to us, and a little off-putting, but all in all a pretty minor inconvenience. What wasn’t great– When we left, we gave our house a deep cleaning, and were anxious to do a final walk thru with them(The house was something of a mess when we rented it, a rusted shopping cart in the backyard, a chandelier so dusty we thought it was frosted glass…)because we were leaving it in better condition than we had received it. But they were very lax in getting together to do that. In the end we just let it go, and hoped we would get our full deposit back… which we did. Thumbs up… you know… pretty much…

I have dealt with Dalmon Property Management for many years now and I have to say I have never experienced such horrible customer service anywhere. They simply don’t respond or communicate and when they do they provide a litany of excuses as to why they couldn’t respond in a reasonable time which only masks their inability to scale to their volume of work. Then when they do finally respond it is completely lacking in customer service and put the recipient on the defensive like it’s your fault for trying to even get a response from them! This outfit is poorly managed, poorly and understaffed and completely undeserving of representing an owner to manage a property or tenant relationship!

As an owner of a house in Marin, we thought Beth at Dalmon Properties had our best interest in mind. It turns out that she was only looking out for herself. We had a plumbing problem in the house that we took immediate steps to fix, but she continued to show other properties to the tenants so that they could move out even with a current and signed lease! During this plumbing problem, she never even visited the house to see the issue and the damage so she couldn’t give us credible and honest updates to the progress of the remediation to the house. Then, when the tenants wouldn’t pay rent, she didn’t even try to collect it. The office staff is not friendly and down right obtuse and rude to us after we signed the management contract. After 4 months from start to finish, we fired her and went to another marin based property management company. She knew she was wrong and ended up giving us a few rebates in the process. The Better Business Bureau will be advised of our troubles due to her inability to conduct business with integrity. Trust me, this is not the company you want to manage your house. They are not organized and not trustworthy.

My boyfriend and I rented a beautiful condo on S. Novato Blvd. for 6 years. Beth from Dalmon Property Management was our manager the whole time we were there. Beth was professional and she made everything so easy for us and was always available for us whenever we had questions or concerns. She was such a pleasure to work with, I feel lucky that we had a great property manager. Thanks for everything Beth!
