I brought my son here because his vision started getting worse in 7^th and 8^th grade and it was degrading fast in 9^th grade because the progressive lenses he was wearing was making him more myopic and it was hastening the worsening of his eye sight. Dr. Jebrock and Ortho-​K totally corrected my son’s strabismus — which improved his vision — and even before we perfected the prescription, my son was seeing better than he could achieve with his soft contacts. He is now close to ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision and he sees Dr. Jebrock tomorrow with the next improvement. He is so happy because he can swim and scuba dive and do rapids without worrying about his contacts falling out. This solution will protect his vision and not deteriorate it and has a far more accurate and complete correction of my son’s vision issues. Dr. Jebrock is so nice and personable, as is his staff. I came in for light therapy treatment hearing that it’s good for headaches. This is the second time I come in for this therapy and it was amazing! I sat in the dark room with the blue/​green light for 5 min and my headache was gone! This was a headache where I couldn’t open my eyes it hurt so much. It had totally disappeared! I am so glad I came in. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone. It’s worked wonders for me!

It’s basically a miracle. I had never heard of orthokeratology, and was looking for groupons for lasik surgery. However, I was very fearful of having lasik done because some people have negative, and sometimes crippling, side effects for their entire lives.
I was relieved to come across Dr. Jebrock’s services, and after a single visit signed up for the procedure right away. As I had been mulling over lasik for years, this was a no brainer. I was impressed because Dr. Jebrock has a genuine interest in holistic and preventative healthcare. He’s also a really nice guy.
I got my first pair of glasses when I was five years old and wore contact lenses for twenty years until I became intolerant, so I am not a newbie to eye exams. However, the exams I was administered in dr. Jebrock’s office struck me as much more informative about my eyes, providing info on the location of my blind spot, my abilities in peripheral vision, and muscular weaknesses in my eyes. I am a 30 something female who exercises regularly, but this opened up an entire new world of eye fitness.
I went home and googled eye exercises, and starting learning more about eye fitness. I was never comfortable in my glasses, which Jebrock said was probably a strain due to the fact that my two eyes have very different prescriptions from each other… Another revelation!
A week or two after my initial exam, I got my first pair of lenses. I wore them that night, and the miracle happened. I took them off in the morning, and I could see! I even rode my bike to yoga in downtown San Francisco! What an amazing miracle. I feel so much better in the world.
The drawbacks… The lenses take time to get used to. They still feel dry at night before I go to bed, but not once I close my eyes. Also, this basically makes you a contact lens wearer again, but the schedule is better than daytime lenses… No getting tired of wearing them at the end of he day.
I am very happy that I did not get surgery, and that I met dr. Jebrock. I learned the eye exercises as well, but I haven’t started practicing them yet.

Dr. Jebrock and his staff are fabulous! After having Ortho K contacts for over 15 years, I was initially interested in having lasik done, however I was dissatisfied with the doctors I found and hesitant about the procedure. I came to Dr. Jebrock’s office with confusion about what I should do and he reassured me that Ortho K technology had undergone many beneficial changes and was the best option for me to take. I work in front of my computer all day and spend far too much time in front of it. I complained to Larry (who works out at my gym) and he suggested I pay him a visit. His staff was kind and courteous and i got a full extensive eye exam. He prescribed a pair of progressive glasses with a yellow tint that blocks out the blue light omitted from my screen and it’s like a savior for my eyes! Dr Jebrock found the solution for my ailment and I couldn’t be happier.

I wore contact lenses for many years, both hard and soft, and had to put up with the usual discomforts from overuse, dust under the lenses, windy days, open car windows, allergies, having them move off center, blurry vision after they were out, not to mention how many lenses I have lost over the years.
When laser eye surgery became available, I was hopeful. I am careful to do a little research into new health procedures before I try them – especially when it comes to slicing and peeling my corneas! I discovered that I would probably need reading glasses, the surgery cannot be reversed, there can be over or under correction, corneal scarring and more. I know 5 people who have had this surgery and 3 have had one or more problems.
Finally, I heard about Orthokeratology – non-​surgical vision correction. And it was amazing. I could see without correction the very next day. Even though I had to try a few different lenses (worn at night) until I got the ones I have now. The amount of time it takes me to put them in, take them out and clean them is 2 minutes – 1 minute to put them in at night and 1 minute (or less) to take them out and clean them in the morning.
I am truly surprised that more people don’t know about Orthokeratology. Not only do I see clearly all day without wearing contacts or glasses, but also it was very exciting to go to the DMV and have the corrective lenses restriction removed from my driver’s license

I discovered Dr. Jebrock after purchasing a Living Social coupon to assess whether I was a candidate for Ortho-​Keratology. I have never worn glasses, but with the aging process, my eyesight was getting very blurry when I read. I was skeptical about this process, mainly because I had never heard of this treatment. I did some online research and, after meeting with Dr. Jebrock, I decided that the upfront cost was worth the price, and I have been ecstatic with my results! After only a few days of wearing the contact lenses while I sleep, my eyesight has been completely restored. In addition, the staff (Natalie and Summer) are wonderful and incredibly accommodating. After years of going to Kaiser for my eye checkups and feeling like a chicken on a conveyer belt, I visited Dr. Jebrock and was amazed at the difference in my experience. Dr. Jebrock and his team took their time to check my eyes, giving me tests I had never had before, and patiently waiting until we got the correct prescription. They were professional, caring, informative, and made me feel like my eyes and eyesight were the most important thing in the world to them. Strongly recommend them!

Myself and the majority of my family have been going to them for over 15 years. My first experience with them was my childhood vision therapy. They were able to actually figure out why I couldn’t read (whereas everyone else could only say that I had a learning disability – duh!) and helped me fix the problem with their vision therapy/​eye exercise training.
Also, they give a comprehensive eye exam and offer much more than just glasses (although they offer those too!) I have been going to them for years specifically for Orthokeratology – lenses that shape one’s eyes during the night. This leaves me glasses free! And I love it. When I wore glasses, my eyes got worse by the day. I got to the point where I could not drive at night because I didn’t feel like I was safe on the road and I had almost no peripheral vision either. Now, I wear lenses every other night while I sleep and have absolutely perfect vision all the time.

Dr. Jebrock is always so kind and patient. He’s an excellent listener, which is so important when you’re trying to figure out what’s going on with your eyes and how to figure out the best solution. As a writer who spends so much time on my laptop, I really appreciate Dr. Jebrock’s specially designed computer glasses. They allow me to see the screen more clearly than I’ve seen it in years! And because they’re «progressive» lenses, I can also use them for reading. One less pair of glasses to lose! Thank you, Dr. Jebrock!

My son was diagnosed with Strabismus at the age of 5. One of his eyes crossed in. We were sent to a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and were under his care for 2 years. Over that time my son’s vision decreased and the crossing became worse. The Dr. said this was all normal, that exercises wouldn’t help and that he was happy with it. I was not. I was referred by a friend to Dr. Jebrock and this man saved my son’s vision. By the time we saw Dr. Jebrock, my son’s vision was very poor and his brain was suppressing (not using) the crossed eye and he had no depth perception. Dr. Jebrock outlined a plan for vision therapy. Over the next 6 weeks we visited once a week for therapy sessions and my son had exercises to do at home. The results were very exciting. His vision improved, he gained control over the eye that was now rarely crossing and his brain stopped suppressing the vision in that eye. Dr. Jebrock then outlined 8 more session every other week. We finished those sessions and at his evaluation appointment I literally cried. His vision is fantastic. He was hitting top scores and reading teeny tiny print. He can do those 3 D, relax your eyes and something jumps out at you puzzles with ease. He has depth perception!!! He no longer suffers from blurry vision even without his glasses and his eye is no longer crossing. We are now on a maintenance schedule, visiting periodically but not under continual care. Dr. Jebrock is so caring and does this because he cares. From the very first exam, my son felt comfortable with him and felt like he cared. Natalie, the fantastic Optometric Assistant, worked beautifully with him and is so encouraging. Susan, the Office Manager is also warm and caring and did everything she could to make our appointments work with our schedule and to answer my questions whenever I had any. We traveled to Dr. Jebrock from an hour away and he and his staff are worth it. We are so grateful for Dr. Jebrock and his staff.

Dr. Jebrock helped me out with some custom hard contact (gas permeable) lenses that I wear overnight and take off in the morning. I had a complicated Rx, and now see ²⁰⁄₂₀ during the day and into the evenings without wearing lenses or getting laser surgery! Thanks Dr. Jebrock!

Dr. Jebrock and his team have been wonderful every time I’ve gone to them. I’ve seen him for routine eye check ups, new prescriptions, and once on short notice when I was experiencing blurred vision after an injury.

After contemplating laser eye surgery, I decided against it, but I really wanted to stop wearing glasses full time. I looked into Orthokeratology a few years ago, but my optometrist at the time told me in no uncertain terms that I wasnt a candidate because I have such a strong prescription. I wear the lenses at night while sleeping and have sharp, clear vision all day. There are also eye training exercises that help improve vision as well. I feel like this has changed my life.

If you are looking for an eye doctor who can help you improve your vision, rather than just correct it, I highly recommend Dr Jebrock. Actually, Dr Jebrock has done both for me – got be back into a pair of contacts (changes in my eyes had made me sensitive to my «regular» contacts), and gave me vision «exercises» that are improving my vision and keeping me from having to get bi-​focals. He’s sensitive, listens to what you are saying, and genuinely wants to help you. He and his staff made what could have been an uncomfortable situation for me very easy. Thanks!
