Roll Wheelchair and Ambulatory Service

I recently had both my hips replaced and was extremely concerned about how I was going to get from the hospital (in Oakland) to my home in Woodacre (West Marin), down a gravelly, railroad-​tie steps path, down a hill and finally a large step into my woodsy apartment. I did some research and was disheartened… until I found Mike. I saw the chair he uses and spoke to him — he was responsive in a timely way and completely assured me that he could handle my path and my discharge. That meant I was able to relax going in to the hospital for my surgery! Mike is calm, friendly, clear-​voiced and has LOTS of experience. He is as reassuring in person as he is on the phone, and most importantly, he got me safely into my home, even though it was one of the more difficult paths he’d come across. He was never worried, once. And he treated EVERYONE we encountered with grace and courtesy (even a distraught woman who ran into the back of his van as he was waiting to pick me up at the hospital!) He did not lose his cool one bit, and did not let his dented bumper affect our journey or his commitment to my trip and safety and wellbeing. My mother was able to ride in the van with me on the trip. I recommend him highly. What you need when you are in a compromised state is to be able to rely on the people helping you. Mike is a 5-​star choice.

Mike Briones is a swell, service oriented individual with a much needed service. Our family uses ROLL to transport our mother who is wheelchair bound. He and his drivers have a friendly manner and do their best to help her feel safe and secure as she is transported to/​from family homes, medical appointments and an occasional outing. The business has state of the art transport vans and with Mike’s reliability our use of his service has been flawless.
