I chose a pair of rayban prescription glasses that after wearing for a few days I hated. I went back and without any problem they let me choose another rayban frame and they recut my lenses to fit! At no charge. And the optometrist there really understands mono vision prescriptions. I keep going back year after year. Think maybe I have gotten 9 pairs of prescription glasses there. Highly recommend them. All the staff is great too.

I was just diagnosed w/cataracts which I will have done early next year but needed some help w/a new prescription in the mean time. Site for Sore eyes is in Novato so I chose them based on these reviews. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Jennifer was very helpful and friendly. An appointment was made for the next day and all glasses arrived within 3 days. Dr. Lowe did a wonderful job of helping me get clear vision and made me a music/computer set as well as distance dark glasses and an excellent set of bi-focals. I used two of my old frames and bought a new set of titanium frames. They accepted AARP discounts. The test was $ 49 and the lenses/glasses were $ 600. All work very well. I will return there after cataract surgery.

I accidentally fell asleep on my old pair of frames and they ended up breaking on me. Unfortunately, the manufacturer no longer made the frame and I was having trouble finding something else that fit my lenses properly. Chris and Jen were extremely helpful in helping me find new frames that fit, and are both as delightful as my new frames. Thanks again!

I work at a optometry practice in petaluma, ca. I just called for some help with a patient and they were eager to help and had a very positive attitude about it. Great Customer Service and thank you for making it easy to call for help!

About $ 350 for eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses. Employees very helpful and friendly. The only thing that would get them a higher rating would be better pricing. Not that I paid more than I expected to, but better pricing never hurts. They usually seem to have a number of deals going on, be sure to ask if you haven’t seen any advertising or gotten anything in the mail.

Couldn’t ask for more… friendly staff, easy to get an appointment for an eye exam, no wait and saw me on time, Dr. Lowe explains every step of the eye exam process and provides helpful advice for the future. My insurance covered most of the cost of the exam and a pair of glasses so there was almost no out-of-pocket. Would recommend to a friend.

Always friendly, knowledgeable and easy to get a quick appointment. The selection of eyeglasses is a little limited, but other than that, great place.

I was a casual walk-in years ago(2005?) and had an eye exam from Dr. Lowe. He is a wonderful doctor and I have gone to him every year since. He does a very thorough job of explaining test, results and just general info in layman’s terms. He made me feel very comfortable and explained more to me than any previous doctor I have had. I plan on continuing to visit him each year in the future! I have almost always had VSP which they do not take and I have paid $ 49 for my eye exams each year. I really like the service they provide and the cost is very worthy in my eyes(ha ha).

I just bought a beautiful pair of glasses at this store. I was also given a free pair with my purchase. The glasses were ready in two days! The staff were all courteous, patient, and very professional. A great experience.

I used to go to the one in Petaluma but it closed so I started going to this one which is above the Supercuts in the Novato Oaks Shopping Ctr. I’ve had two different optical insurance companies with my work and they took both. Great selection of frames in the store and they’ll make sure your glasses fit perfectly before you’re stuck with them. Friendly staff at this location.

I had an eye exam here for contacts and a general check-up. Dr. Lowe is great– he’s very nice, professional and helpful. I will definitely be going back. I called around to a few places before going here and it seemed to be less expensive than other places, too– I think my eye exam was around 80 – 90 dollars(though it can be more, depending on your needs).

Went here to look for new sunglasses on my home from a conference. Traffic was atrocious so I figured I’d avoid traffic and look for new specs after getting lasik. The place was empty(it was 5pm on a Friday) but the person was very helpful. He was Korean and extremely polite. He definitely knew Asian faces and steered away from plastic frames as those rarely have enough nose pads for our small bridges. Sadly, there wasn’t enough selection so I walked out after 5 minutes, but very good customer service.

Just went in there for new contacts. They have a decent selection of glasses. What made this please better than all of the other len crafter’s I’ve been to is the doctor they have on staff. Dr. Lowe is the doctor on call at the office for exams. They have a good line of equipment for testing your eyes, but the thing I really appreciated, he told me issues about my eye I’ve been dealing with for my while life, he explained them all. No doctor at the half a dozen lens crafters I’ve been to every caught it. Epic win. The exam was 89 $, not 49 like the other Unilocaler stated. And i didn’t get the offer to use it on my glasses,

Note to self… don’t lose glasses… My eyes were in need of Site assistance. .and my eyes were Sore without the site assistance… I guess it was fate because the day I found a coupon in the Pacific Sun for buy one pair of glasses(do they call it a pair of glasses because there are two lenses, that has never made sense to me) you get one pair free and a free eye exam. I cut the coupon out and within 3 hours I had lost my last pair of eye glasses. I made an appointment. They are connected to a Dr. Lowe, so what you do is have an exam with him, which by the way was a really good exam and he explained to me every step of the way what he was doing and why he was doing it. You pay him $ 49 for the exam then you walk next door and Site for Sore Eyes gives you a full credit for the $ 49 toward your glasses, plus you still have the offer of buy one get one free. Service was GREAT… I had my glasses in an hour. I paid for two pairs of glasses, one pair had the clip on sunglasses, and an eye exam $ 376.00. I was very happy… my insurance doesn’t cover eye so this was a total out of pocket expense for me and I was prepared to pay much more because in my world if I didn’t have bad luck… sometimes I wouldn’t have any luck at all…
