Good fabric selection for being a smaller store. Definitely worth checking out before going through the pain of JoAnne’s! I’ll be back for my next project. :)

This store carries a great selection of quilting fabrics and yarn. I can’t speak to the notions but I found the fabric very reasonably priced. They also have a solid selection of quilting and embroidery notions. I stopped in here for a few minutes this afternoon, sadly I ran out of time planning my next quilting project before I could finish my yardage calculations and complete my purchase. The people working at the store were very attentive. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to see a larger selection of quilting squares. It’s great to see a little family run fabric store, they are getting harder to come by and the big box stores I often find lacking in quality fabric selection. I will definitely be back!

I was very delighted to see the small fabric store at Novato Fair Shopping Center! Great selection of fabric, yarn, and notions. Everything you need from A-to-Z for your sewing projects is all in once place! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly with excellent service. Highly recommended!

I was visiting Novato & notice that there was a fabric shop. I went in and i was NOT greeted at all, just looked at. As i was browsing, the old lady never bothered to ask to find out of i was looking for anything in particular. So i walked right in front of her on my way out and STILL nothing. I can tell you that specialty stores are becoming more and more rare because large chain stores give the same unfriendly and rude behavior but with cheaper prices. I will NEVER be back. I prefer to spend my money where at least people have some home training and say hello, at the very least. $ 14 a yard for a simple batik… no thanks!

Nice selection of fabrics, yarns, and counted cross-stitch kits. DMC floss and embroidery hoops are also sold here as well as a nice selection of oil cloth.

The first time I went here they had just opened and the guy behind the counter was extremely helpful. The few times I’ve walked in since then, the women at the counter were busy talking to each other and didn’t offer to help. The yarn is mainstream acrylic varieties and I would only go here if I needed knitting needles in a hurry but even these are mid-to-low quality. It’s too bad, because I was happy there would be a yarn store in Novato. Guess I’ll still be driving to Petaluma to visit Knitterly. To be fair, they sell other craft supplies, fabric, etc. I haven’t looked at those things.

This store has a great selection of fabrics with some sewing supplies thrown in. It also features some nice yarns. They were also very nice. I would like to see more sewing supplies

Beautiful shop! Such a lovely addition to Novato. Very helpful and kind owners. Not precious at all, but meticulous. I only wish they stocked more linen fabric!

This little shop is just what Novato needed. I have been so frustrated with the lack of arts supplie here in Novato. The fabrics are gogeous, full of brightly colored material. There is a spinner filled with a rainbow of embroidery thread. Lots of buttons of all styles, shapes, colors and sizes. The small shop holds a treasure chest of color and inspiration.
