My wife and I recently purchased a chest through Mission Works and are very pleased with the price, quality and service. Previously we had purchased a similar piece made by one of the «name» manufacturers through a major retailer, and while the product was fine the price was a LOT higher. Myles knows his furniture, provides a lot of personal service, and the furniture is manufactured to a high quality. Don’t expect a large store, he runs a low overhead operation, but it works. We recently returned to order a matching bed.

I was pleased to find a store that sells solid wood furniture, made in the US.
Myles helped me design a desk chair for my home office.
As it turns out, the chair is my latest pride and joy.
I chose the leather, the wood species, the stain and even the tacks that accent the leather.
It is «my» chair.

I had been looking for some true Craftsman style furniture to compliment my existing bedroom set for quite a while. I came across Mission Works on the web and drove up to see their showroom. Myles was extremely knowledgeable and helpful educating me on what to look for in hand made furniture. I finally settled on a large mule chest at what I feel was a fair price, especially after looking at what the big furniture showrooms had to offer. After a little over 3 months (each piece is individually made) Myles and team showed up to deliver my piece hauling it up three flights of stairs to my waiting bedroom. It matched the look and quality of the pieces in the showroom and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Mission Works, the photos on the website were accurate, but if you are able, it is worth the drive to make your way to the showroom.

Can’t say enough good things about this place and the quality of their furniture. The two pieces I bought are exceptionally well made, and look stunning in my room. The wood finish is beautiful, and the workmanship is excellent. The salesperson, Myles, was knowledgeable and helpful when I was making my decisions. I will be going back!

We ordered a custom bed from the Mission Works. My wife has acid reflux and we had our old bed on plastic risers on one end, a common remedy for the condition. We mentioned this when buying the new one and Myles said they could simply build the bed on a slight grade, so we wouldn’t need the risers.
We were expecting the entire bed to slope downwards, but the furniture maker designed it so that the bed frame sits flat and only the mattress slopes downward, by making an inset for the mattress within the frame. It’s an amazing piece of woodcraft, totally unexpected and very striking (and comfortable!).

We were looking for a TV stand/​storage unit, using solid, natural cherry hardwood, in a simple Amish-​Shaker style to match our other furniture pieces. We found Mission Works, which carries not just Mission-​style furniture, but also similar styles, and were impressed with the lines and quality of their furniture from a variety of US-​made sources, ranging from mid-​tier to higher-​end stuff. They’ve two showrooms with many living room, dining room, bedroom, and family room hutches, cabinets, TV consoles/​stands, dressers, etc.
Myles, the owner was very patient with us, as we struggled to make up our minds on exactly what we wanted. He’s worked in the furniture business for years, understands that each customer has their own unique needs, and strives to meet those needs.
We ended up working with Myles’s son, Devon, to design a custom piece that would hold our DVD collection, look sharp, and fit in well with our other furniture. Devon knew what options their various workshops could offer, and had studied architecture, all of which probably helped in coming up with the design and drawings.
We ended up wall mounting our TV, allowing us to use the top of the unit The drawers are dovetailed on all four sides and have Walnut fronts and backs for the drawer boxes. The drawers self-​close, meaning you push them mostly closed and they retract completely by themselves, flush to the cabinet.
I’ll upload a couple of pictures of the piece. The unit took about 10 weeks to arrive, which is the usual for custom pieces. Quality, American craftsmanship.
Needless to say, we are satisfied customers.

After searching high and low for QUALITY furniture at a decent price I found exactly what I was looking for. I recently purchased my bedroom here. The service was amazing! The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. None of the other places I shopped had SOLID wood, American-​Made furniture… although some claimed otherwise it was obviously not the case. The delivery was timely and they even took my old furniture away. After having some bad experiences with furniture stores in the past I was delighted to have everything go smoothly. I highly suggest this local shop.
