I love this 7-Eleven because I have been coming here forever and rarely does it disappoint. Like was mentioned earlier, the staff has been there for a while so you get to know each other after a few visits. I think it’s two brothers that own it and it’s like everyone kinda becomes family after you’ve been going there long enough.

This 7 – 11 is the closest one to my house. In the past I would frequent this location for slurpees, which is one of my favorite cool snacks. Unfortunately, more times than not, the machines are broken. The workers there consistently tell us that the machine is on the fritz. After experiencing this one time too often, we decided to go to the Speedway down the street for slurpees. It has all the things that a general 7 – 11, but the faulty slurpee machine forces me to give it a low rating.

I guess all 7-Elevens are alike, but this one has a (slightly) warm spot for me; because I’ve been visiting here late, late nights (read — early mornings) for over 30 years.
Amazingly enough, since I assume the pay is not great, the same couple of cashiers have been here for years and years. It’s just the slightest bit cool (although also somewhat pathetic, I guess) that they recognize me and hubby to say hi.
