I was having voltage fluctuation issues in my 80 year old home, which is still run with BUSS fuses. Lights were dimming. There was not enough power to run the blow dryer or refridgerator. Given the age of the house, and some of the wiring, I was concerned about a fire, at worst, and my appliances burning out, at best. I called 4 electricans on a Saturday morning at 7am(two of whom offered«24⁄7 emergency services»). Mike was the only one who called me back. Mike was up front about the costs for the service call, and the charges per hour for the technician. No mystery. No surprises. He gave me the option of either paying to have someone come out on Saturday, or waiting until Monday for a lower rate. Within an hour, he had a professional, mature technician out, who went right to work assessing my problem. He asked lots of questions, and ran lots of tests. He gave the impression of knowing exactly what he was doing, and updated me periodically on what he was discovering about my issue. He established that my electrical issue was at the pole, and I called DTE. Having a professional, licensed, competent electrician assure me that my problem was not INSIDE the house was worth every dime. When I next need an electrician, I will just make Noonan my first call.
