Well, all I can say is it must depend on the inspector that you get as far as the reliability of the inspection. Here is what was found after the inspection was completed and not revealed during the inspection less than 2 months after purchase: Outlets that did not function and as stated by an electrician doing a repair«a fire danger» Water leakage Furnace that stated no date found in inspection but clearly labeled with date after we looked and very outdated for the home with corrosion resulting in complete replacement of the furnace. Huge electrical issues from panel Hot tub with a non functional blower. Leakage in the walls in a lower bedroom very obvious when carpet with no pad was lifted. There is more… Called to voice concerns and got yelled at by the person that did the inspection. Asked for a supervisor to call and never received a return call. Really bad business practice in my book. You would think it would be worth a return call with some excuse versus a poor review. Do not do business with this company. My inspector was inept. This inspection has resulted in over $ 5000 in charges that we were not ready to handle financially shortly after purchasing the home. Your choice but I would have been happy with an apology versus a hostile conversation with the inspector and a blow off from the supervisor. Your choice I guess. Good Luck!

I’ll start off with the positives: 1) Very knowledgeable of many areas of the home 2) Provided a nice detailed report on site and also emailed to me while we were at the home 3) Answered many questions So, those are the positives. The issues I have with the inspection are: 1) The price. At $ 365, when the industry standard is $ 250, I expect you to go above and beyond. I paid for you to be better than the rest, not the same. The price might be tied in with the fact that this is a franchise and the franchisee is passing the additional expense back to the consumer. 2) I flat out asked my inspector if he went on the roof, which to me is a very important aspect of the home inspection. His reply was«yes, I did that before you arrived and will include photos in the report.» When I finally was able to review his full report it states that he did not actually get up ON the roof but climbed up the ladder to the roof line and viewed with binoculars. As it had not been raining that day there was no reason why he couldn’t have walked the roof and did a full inspection. If I were to have another inspection I’m not sure I would use this company again.
