Our upstairs neighbor in our condo had an unfortunate inability to correctly load the dishwasher. This led to an errant fork depressing the water level sensor, which led to a dishwasher overflow and a beautiful waterfall right through our kitchen ceiling. A leaky ceiling is probably depressing no matter what the circumstances, but our condo also had an open floor plan so that the living room, kitchen, and dining room all shared the SAME ceiling. It was obvious that after the damaged sections of ceiling were repaired, we’d also have a lot of repainting to do. Our insurance company recommended Sun Glo Restorations for the work. All we had to do was make the appointment, be present for the work, and pay our deductible. I was so impressed with Sun Glo. They called a few days prior to their scheduled work and gave me a window of arrival times. They showed up exactly when they’d promised. Then they finished the work exactly within their estimated time frame. When does that ever happen? The work took several days. Sun Glo removed the damaged portion of the drywall and set up industrial fans to completely dry the crawl space. Then they added a new section of drywall and smoothed the surface so it blended with the existing material. Finally, they painted the entire ceiling in that open space – but only after moving all of our furniture and covering it to protect it. As a bonus, they also replaced everything they’d moved when they were done. The results were awesome. You can’t tell there was ever any damage, and the newly painted ceilings look bright and clean. I would hire Sun Glo again in a heartbeat if I needed any interior restoration work.
