Chef It Up

We had my daughter’s 3^rd birthday party here this past weekend and it was a huge success! I was a little nervous since we’d never been to a chef it up party before but everything was so clean, organized and fun! Sue made the whole process very easy and her helpers were wonderful. Kids parties can be chaotic but sue kept things moving and the kids loved it. One of her assistants even picked up my phone and shot a video of our family gathered around the birthday cake with our birthday girl singing happy birthday! I’m so glad that she did!!! The kids loved decorating their hats and aprons. They also rolled out dough to make their own pizzas, cut up fresh strawberries for strawberry shortcake and decorated a cupcake to take home. It was like no other party we’d been to before. I really cannot relate at all to the negative review given here. I highly recommend a chef it up party!

I had my daughter’s 5^th birthday party here recently and was not completely satisfied.
I’ll start with the PROs:
–One of the 2 ladies that was working with the children and helping them with their food creations was very engaged with the children, the other seemed annoyed and didn’t seem to want to be bothered with any questions. The younger lady was very helpful and answered all of my questions.
–The party started off very dry but like I said, the younger lady kept the party going and kept the kids happy and smiling.
–The kids liked the food.
CONs: I was about 10 mins late but my sister and mother were there to greet the guests and got the party started.
–The owner seemed annoyed from the very start and maybe it was because I was a little late but there wasn’t very much going on because several of the guests hadn’t arrived yet. But about 5 mins later almost everyone started to flow in so the party was ready to start.
–They give you a «Chef It Up» T-​Shirt to sign for the birthday child but did not have a proper marker to use, so my sister had to find one.
–There were several parents that showed up with their child so it started to get a little crowded but I wasn’t told until 20 mins before the party was about to end that there was a place in the back for the parents to sit.
–My party package included face painting which they started doing in the very beginning of the party but once the party started the young lady who was doing the face painting stopped to help with the food prep. So several kids did not get their face painted even though I paid for it.
Finally, at the end of the party each child gets a take home treat that they created during the party but the treat was given to them in some cheap paper plates with plastic wrap. If I would have known that, I would have provided some take home trays that are usually very inexpensive at any dollar store that would have been more presentable.
For what you have to pay, I found that things were done in a very cheap way and the owner needs to adjust her attitude. I WILL NOT BE BACK.
