Cucina 355

I have to give credit when it is due. We figured we would try Cucina, a fairly new place in town.
I was pleasantly surprised to see they have their own private parking lot.
As some of you know many businesses on Franklin Ave are lacking in this area.
We were seated immediately and waited on promptly, the service throughout the meal was second to none.
We started with the rice balls with Vodka sauce, I highly recommend it, they were crunchy outside and soft inside, the Vodka sauce was amazing.
My wife and I both chose the Fusilli Frutti Di Mari. (homemade Fusilli with seafood).
It was HUGE and amazing. I’m a big guy and could only finish half of the entrée.
We will make Cucina our new «go to» spot.
A nice bonus to get the Unilocal 30 for 15 special.

So i went here on Sunday and really enjoyed myself. We used the 15 for 30 Unilocal coupon and the bill afterwords came out to 27. 42 bucks for a nice dinner for 2 is great. I had the shrimp, scallops, and arugula over linguine in a pink sauce. Not only was it very good the portion size was phenomenal. The fried calamari we had for an app was fresh and excellent and the Tiramisu was a great ending to a nice meal. I will definitely be coming back

Went with my wife for a quiet Valentine’s Day dinner for 2. The food was well prepared and abundant. Most importantly the service was primo! I strongly recommend.

I got a chance to stop by last night … As usual I had a wonderful experience. The food was great … The portions gigantic and the executive chef even stopped by to say hello … I feel like I’m becoming a regular :)

Love Cucina 355! Great food, BYOB, and super friendly service. Risotto balls are out of this world, and the menu has a ton of classic and more experimental Italian entrees that are sure to please everyone at the table.

My rating only reflects one experience and one dish. I ordered a small Margherita Pizza. It was over-​priced and not very good. The other items on their menu look interesting. I doubt I will go back here because who can afford these prices if the food may not deliver.

ordered delivery and waited over 2 hours before cancelling my order. all I ordered was a pizza — not that complicated! never ordering again.

Nutley has a few pizzerias but this one if my favorite. It just opened not too long ago and I have to say they keep up with the competition. I prefer this place also because it is priced very well.

This place is an AMAZING addition to the reputation Nutley has for great food. It is cheap and delicious. The girl who runs the cash register is EXTREMELY kind and helpful. This place caters towards teens amd adults so all can enjoy something on their menu.

Good food and decent décor. BYOB always makes things better. This would be good for a moderate sized group. The food was delicious. I had chicken artichoke and my wife ate chicken arrabiata. She chose the better meal this time. We will definitely go back in the future. It was interesting that it is also a pizza place but pizza wasn’t on the regular dinner menu.

I went there with my kids. We want to try somethings different. we think it’s going to be good pizza. But pizza is not even good. Service ok but not extra ordinary. and food also expensive. One large pizza cost 18 dollar, better we order dominos.

It was late and with our 5 month old, we stopped in here to just pick up a slice of pizza for dinner. The waitress/​hostess sat us down and and didn’t realize we wanted to go in and out but she was so nice that we read over the menu and took got a couple entrees. The buffalo chicken salad I got was probably the best I’ve had. I think she could tell we were tired so waitress was attentive and service was fast. Fantastic service and food, will be back soon to sit in the actual sit down section.

Fried Calamari was good. Sauce could have been spicier. Stuffed mushroom was bland. Penne with Vodka sauce was bland and I would Avoid. Veal parm was over fried to the point of burnt. They tried to cover it up with sauce as if that would fool my fat ass. Probably won’t return.

So I ordered a penne vodka pizza here thinking it was going to be amazing after seeing how much they takes about their pizzas. It took an hour to deliver even though I’m half a mile away (which I think is the places fault) and when it arrived it was literally crust, cheese and chicken. It was disgusting and not what I ordered and the place closed before I could complain or order something else and wouldn’t take my call. Only reason I’m not a 1 star is because they delivery guy was great.

Went here last night for the first time. Not too bad. Service actually was pretty good. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Food was good. Décor was rustic meets posh. One thing I didn’t like was their napkin. Looked like a regular dish/​hand towel. Overall, I see myself dining back again. Look for Carrie as your waitress. Price wasn’t too bad either for the quality and ambiance you experience.

Today is Friday Sept 4^rd 2015. This was Our first time ordering from Cucina 355 in Nutley. At first we called and the girl who answered seem a little bit overwhelmed and confused. She told me to order online the get a 10% discount, also said it would be at least an hour delivery.
Ok. So we thought over a hour they must be busy which is a good thing. So we decided to go ahead and order online. Well let me tell you. The food was outstanding. So good and worth the wait.
Chicken Saltimboccs was excellent.
Calamari Fra Diavlo was tender and so spicy.
Mini Rice Balls are so so good.
Chicken cutlet salad I highly recommend!
It is so hard to get the correct Italian Fusilli now a days. But they got it! Fusilli should be long and thick. Not short and curly.
Overall. Cucina 355 did a wonderful job. Excellent Food. Was all cook and prepared perfectly.
As for the 1 star reviews who reviewed it took 2 hours. They will never order from here again. All I have to say is, your loss. Next time get off your butt and pick it up.

Place just recently opened in Nutley with positive reviews, so we decided to experience authentic Italian meal ourselves. Place is packed even on slow weekdays.
Which was a good sign. Ambience is nice, décor is modern and simple. Food is delicious. Lobster ravioli were perfect. Rice balls yummy. Service was excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that place has no host as customers walk in no one greets them and showing to the table.

We decided to order out from Cucina on a Sunday evening. Impressed by the extensive menu and decent reviews we took a shot. Couldn’t be more disappointed. A family member ordered a «Steak Caesar Salad». Only the steak was something between Steakum and Hamburger ordered a Calamari Salad which was more like lettuce with a lot of just defrosted squid on top. I’ll include some pictures above. For $ 48.00. Won’t be ordering from here again. Gave two stars for the quick delivery and the soup which was ok.

Nice neighborhood place. Great improvement food and décor wise compared to the previous restaurant in this location. Nice service, Kara our server was very sweet, helpful and accommodating. The food was a nice surprise too. Very generous portions, fresh too. I got the chicken artichoke, excellent. Came with a delicious salad that was huge considering it was a side salad. Hubby ordered Linguini a la Tonia which was linguini, diced tomatoes, basil and New Zealand mussels in a white wine sauce. He loved it! Very nice to have a new local place with good food we can pop in to on a whim. Good luck to them.
