Mila is a rockstar !! This was my first time at this salon. I wasn’t nervous to try it out because they have rave reviews on here. I opted for the trendy «long bob» haircut, and she delivered! Blown out, texturized, & styled. Mila made my hair look just like the picture I provided! She has a great personality, is fast and efficient. Thank you so so much

I just got my hair done here on Saturday. and WOW im blown away. I’ve went to many places to get my hair done, even places that looked expensive and all high class. In this place, you get a family vibe. Its not the most glamorous studio, but they do a REALLY GOOD job, and I feel like that all that is important. You can go to nice looking studios and have the most terrible hair cuts, but this place will draw you in to come back ! I saw this place off a groupon deal. Haircut and blow out for $ 37, i ended up paying 10 dollars extra which I really did not mind, considering it was labeled on the coupon, and that my hair was REALLY long. I still see that as a steal. I forgot the name of the lady that cut my hair, but she was awesome. She was great to talk to as well. She cut my hair a lot shorter than I expected it to be, but man did I end up actually really loving it. She put layers on, and made my hair look SO full. The blow out she did was amazing too, and all this, it really only took about an hour. She also has other customers waiting for her, so I was a bit skeptical if she was in a rush. But she really put time and her skills into play. I am looking forward to going back to her again.

Mila– As others have written, she’s so incredibly gifted at hairstyling. She instinctively knew what I needed and let me tell you– the result was amazing, I got so many compliments. She’s a really sweet person too.

This review is WAY overdue! I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago with a groupon and Mila was AMAZING. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair and I have to say it came out awesome. Mila is very knowledgeable and and professional. I will definitely be back!

Just got my hair done here and it looks/​feels amazing! Mila worked with me and from the moment I met her she was so welcoming and we talked about several hair products she would recommend. What I loved about this salon and her is that they don’t push you to buy their specific products and actually want to just speak to their clients and see what is best for THIER hair. Some people tend to forget that everyone’s hair is different. I’ve been to some high end salons and Milas work was identical or even better than some of the styles I’ve had before for a great price.

I love this place. Went to this place after being recommended by a friend. I was getting pretty tired of going to NY to get my hair done. She told me to ask for Ljupka. She lived up to my expectations. She has cut my hair and glazed it.
The place, in general, is wonderful. Everyone who works here are super nice. Their prices are reasonable. They use and sell great products. I take my mother and grandmother here as well for their dye jobs and haircuts. They love it here as well. These hair dressers LISTEN to what you want. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The only negative thing I would have to say is that the salon does get pretty busy. However, that’s just what you get when you do a good job. They try to accommodate as many people as they possibly can so sometimes you have to be patient. Schedule your appointment ahead of time and be on time.

First I bought a deal for my sister and she went to get her hair cut and highlighted. It turned out Amazing! She had Mila and her hair looked great! After I couldn’t resist so I bought a deal as well. I went in there not caring about who I got and it turned out that Mila was going to cut and dye my hair. I was really happy and since I got it cut and dyed everyone has complimented the cut/​color. I was really please at the way she mixes the dyes to get a color that works well with my skin tone. I recommended her to my other sister and she went and her hair looks wonderful! I will definitely be back!

Mila has been doing my hair for years in the city. Just because of her I venture out of the city to NJ. And like always she did a marvelous job. Very professional, highly experienced… a specialist that every woman should have.
Am so happy with my hair and I get compliments all the time. Am already planing my next appointment… cannot wait to see what will Mila do to my hair next.

I got my hair cut and got highlights from here a few days ago by Ljupka. I went in with a rough idea of how I wanted my hair to look, and Ljupka did even better than what I asked! She was so friendly and awesome as well! I’ve received so many compliments on my hair and I’ve told all my friends to go here! I had a groupon and after reading several reviews, I was mentally prepared to pay a little extra for my long hair and a glaze, so just keep that in mind. I would highly recommend this place and Ljupka to everyone!

I had a groupon for full highlights with Ljupka and I can honestly say it is the happiest I’ve ever been with my highlights. Ljupka helped me decide on a style to go with, and even made suggestions as to what would suit my skin color. The finished product was fabulous, and my hair isn’t damaged at all! I’ve never really found someone who can do my highlights the way I want and now I know where to go. Everyone in the salon is really funny and laid back as well. I enjoyed myself, I’m definitely coming back here.

I wish I found High Street Cuts and Ljupka way sooner! The entire staff and owner make it feel like your a part of one big family while your there. And most importantly Ljupka listens to what I wanted and executed it to a tee!!! My hair cut and color are beautiful! For years I left another salon feeling so so and paying top prices. I bought a a Groupon deal for a cut, style, blow dry and partial highlights. First I got there at 11:50 and my appointment was at 12. I told the guy my name and he said to wait. Then, by 12:30 I asked him again if the had talk to the hairdresser, he called her and he forgot to tell her I was there. I had a party that day so I waited till 1pm to start having my hair done. I showed her a picture what I wanted, bangs and partial highlights. She did the highlights on my bangs, a lot in the front so when she cut it, it looked terrible — blond hair in the front and nothing in the back. I was so frustrated! They also charged me plus $ 60 because my hair was long. Such a BS. Never going back there again. Dirty and not organized place.

This is a great place! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I bought a groupon for a haircut and partial highlights. Joy did my hair and she was friendly and nice. She really listened to what I wanted, and it came out great. Love my haircut! I highly recommend this place!
The décor is simple, but the place is very clean which is what matters the most!
The only thing I don’t like is that there is only 2 hour parking all around and no private parking lot. I hear no body cares if your there longer, but it makes me nervous.

Loved the hair cut! Tanya was so incredibly sweet, knew EXACTLY what I wanted and the highlights are absolutely professional looking. No skunk stripes or chopped up hair, a sleek and professional job.
Highly recommend going to see Tanya, the owner (Joe) is sweet and very accommodating, I will definitely be a faithful customer.

I went to see Tanya after I purchased a groupon… Initially, I drove past the salon as it’s just a little easy to miss, but glad I found it. Immediately I was greeted by the owner who knew my name the second I stepped in. Tanya was lovely! Very funny and super attentive. She did a perfect job on my blonde-​perfect. I normally fly back to Chicago to go to my stylist I’ve been using for many years, but figured I had to find someone I could trust with my hair. She not only did a great job on the color, but also a fabulous job on the cut.
This little gem may not be as fancy as the New York salons that soak you for $$$$ todo your hair, but the quality of the work is as good if not better. I will be back. Happily.
