Sunflower Day Spa

Just started going to this spa not too long ago and I gotta say its one of the best ive been too. With so many spa chains opening up I was really trying to find somwhere where they didnt treat you exactly like eveyrone else and reallly take the time personalize your service. This spa has sooo many services to choose from and they always treat you like family here! They do everything from waxing to detox to massages and they always have discounts and promotions going on. This place is very clean and has a very overall relaxing atmosphere. Definately becoming a regular client quickly and and referring all my friends and family too!

I’ve been a loyal client for over 10 years for a reason, they do an incredible job at Sunflower. Natalia is an eyebrow master, I won’t let anyone else touch them. I’ve also gotten waxings-​including Brazilians, armpits and legs and electrolysis. I would and have recommended Sunflower to many friends and they all have reported complete satisfaction.

A good friend of mine gave me a gift certificate to this place. I took my mom along with me for a massage. It was okay. The masseuse I had was nice but she didn’t really do a good job massaging on all the knots I have which I told her is on my shoulder and lower back. She gave me a full body massage when I told her to just focus on those two areas.
My mom was ok with her massage too but she mentions that she rather do the aqua machine massage that you see that the malls nowadays. I have to agree with my mom! Moms know best :)

I received a gift certificate for this «spa» so decided to use part of it for a bikini wax and the other part for a massage.
I went for the bikini wax (my first ever) and was completely disgusted!!! Upon entering, my first impression was that the place was pretty dingy looking with random «junk» on display. The young lady at reception seemed a bit dim but not rude in any way.
A young woman had just walked out of a room to reception and stated she had a bikini wax and would like to pay. Immediately after her, a woman walked out of the same room and called to me to enter the room. I cannot recall the name of the woman who waxed me… I wish I could. What I do recall is that she did not wash her hands after the young lady prior to me, did not wear gloves & DOUBLE DIPPED!!! Even as a first timer I know that DOUBLE DIPPING is disgusting!!! I feel bad for the people who get their upper lips waxed with that nasty wax!!! On top of all that… my «strip» was completely crooked and off center.
SIDE NOTE: The room I was waxed in was also dingy looking. This establisment is dingy and outdated. The rooms I saw were all a dirtied up white which did not provide the calming, relaxing vibe one should get at a true spa.
Having said all that — I will not be using the other ½ of my gift certificate.

This place is wonderful. Very reasonable prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve been there twice for massages, and I bought a massage/​facial gift certificate for my mother, and she loved it there as well. I can’t wait to go back!
