Great place to watch games and hang out. The food is pretty good too. everything is affordable and the people are cool. A lot of tvs so u can watch any gane. Also they play music sometimes. Can’t complain! I always have fun there. Bathrooms are super clean. They have a new owner

Where did the chef in the kitchen go that was in this place. Best wings going. and bar pies were great. The new owners aren’t doing it right! Calling out to find out where the chef went. Need me some wings.

I don’t have much to say about The Game Sports Bar – I’ve only been there once(after some soup at Huong Viet a few doors down). It always looked empty which in part kept me away. The place is pretty dark inside, but the bartenders were nice – quick to clean up a spilled drink and offer another – and very attentive. It’s certainly a new alternative to the Nutley bars we’ve all been to 3 million times. The ADD really kicks in at this place. With TVs covering every square inch of the place you don’t know where to look next. I’ll probably stop back after my next bowl of Phở.

Decent local sports bar but could be better. There are a ton of TVs but the games are oddly placed and repeated across the TVs, which is a waste and hard on the eyes. Also some TVs are delayed, that are showing the same game, which adds even more confusion. Also, this place gets the award for most disgusting bathroom, not that I particularly care that much but this one is awful. This might be the first one I’ve been to where the stall doesn’t have a door, leaving said person out in the open right next to the sinks… weird. Overall, you should have cut a couple TVs and updated your place! And another thing, this bar doesn’t believe in lights and uses the TVs on the walls for lighting… cheap! On the plus side, beers are cheap and the buffalo wings are pretty damn good, just a little on the smaller side.

This place looks good, however it is lacking management above all. It has over 30 tvs which is great for football, but everything else is a 1 of 10 at best. The food is terrible for starters and is a tell tale sign of a place ready to keel over and die. I went there approx 1 year ago and the food/service was much different. We ordered burgers and I kid you not the meat was like a sloppy joe. I could of taken a frozen costco burger and cooked it myself with a lighter without fear of salmonella. Unfortunately, the staff suffers when management is non-existent. They have to take all he crap from the customers while the owner isn’t around to explain to his paying customers why everything is in shambles. George D said 6 months? I agree with that and wish I didn’t have to, but sometimes it is just better to cut your losses. Hopefully someone will take over that has pride in their business because there clearly is none here. Not to sound like a heartless animal but I paid $ 68 for food and drinks and another $ 15 tip just because I felt bad for the staff there. I would of been better off eating out of the neighbors trash and drinking natty ice.

A complete joke. I would never eat or drink here again. Dirty glasses, napkins, menus. Half the tap beers are kicked. They didn’t even add enough buffalo sauce on the wings to cover the entire wing! Out of business within 6 months guarantee.

Mike’s Bottom line Nice, Decent food and good for a small group of friends for a bit to eat and check out a few games. Friendly staff but a a little slow, a very chill place to relax have a beer and some decent bar food and enough the games. Its a nice little place to hang out with a small group and watch a few games. They have a TON of tvs so its great to watch all the games when something is going on, pretty good set up for them all around too. The food is pretty good, nothing that wows you, better then average hot wings, could of been a bit hotter but that just me i like 9 out of 10 on that hotness scale. The night i was there a few of the TVs Kept shutting off and cutting out, was particularlly annoying cause it just happened to be the one with the game i was watching with the easiest viewing angle for me, but a quick seat change corrected that and you cant fault them for random little glitches i guess. Otherwise good experiance.

Been here to watch the Knicks games and it gets pretty packed. TVs all over the place. There has to be at least 30 screens in the place. They have beer specials throughout game time. Also been here for happy hour. ½ price apps and beer and drink specials for happy hour. The sliders are awesome, the chicken kabobs wrapped in bacon are awesome, wings are just the way I like them, crunchy. Chill local spot. So far with all my previous visits, I have not encountered poor customer service. Bartenders are attentive.

As a sports fanatic, beer connoisseur, burger lover and avid jukebox MC, this place favors my leisure style on many levels. Predominantly a sports bar, it is wall-papered with flat screen TVs multiple games and sports on at a given time. Plus, they’re one of very few bars around that always show UFC events. The place itself is great for groups but does get loud when it gets crowded. Beers on tap and food are affordable and they have knowledgeable bartenders. I highly recommend trying their signature«Heart Attack Burger» but make sure you come with an appetite before ordering it. Not a great place for a first date as it can get quite loud and rowdy depending on the night due to either karaōke or a sporting event but a great place for groups.

Been here plenty of times and each time the order comes back wrong. Long wait for food(30 mins or more) and overpriced drinks.

My girls and I come here for Happy hour, 4−7PM. That’s when the best deal is at, when we know we can still hear each other, pay half the price and be able to get our most wanted buzz. If the bar is not poppin at 9ish-10ish…expect that place to shut down. You can’t compare this place to a restaurant. It is not even in the same category. Don’t bring your date here if you want to impress her… unless you don’t want to hear her speak he he. Don’t complain about the noise… unless the place is listed as «fine dining» or «the Library» Food wise, for that price, the food is pretty good. I’ve had food that are expensive and taste funky. For bar food it is acceptable. Before you really start complaining about a place you really have to think about what this establishment’s main goal is: *To provide enough alcohol in your drink so you get buzzed … check *To provide large flat screen TV’s for watching«the game»(to ignore bf/gf) … check *To provide finger foods while drinking… check * To provide good service when I am in a good mood or bad… check *To provide bathroom when the need arise… check *To be annoying so the table cant complain you didnt check up on them… check That about all you need folks :) PS My whining: «I wish they had more options for food.»(It is a bar dufus, dont complain). :) «I wish they had parking for their customers» …(but people across the street are miserable that they have to remove hair from people’s back and such instead of drink and eat, plus you shouldn’t drink and drive anyway, call a cab) :P «I wish they have hotter guys and gals»(dammit this is not a dating service and didnt your mama tell you, hot girls/guys dont come until after your 5th drink) ;)

Hadn’t been here in a long time, and decided to give it a try again. Our first experience was good, so we were surprised to find the place at ½ or less capacity on a Friday night during a yankees game. The deal per ounce on beer for the 100oz beer tube is still a good deal. This time we decided to get some food. The prices aren’t terrible, but the food isnt great. A guy in our group got a black and blue burger which was not blackened and barely had blue cheese on it. They had a roasted red pepper on the burger too. Odd. He did not enjoy it. I had a cheese steak that was below average and the fries were kind of stale. The oddest thing was that we had a group of 5 and they added gratuity automatically. 20% and on the after tax amount. That is pretty aggressive. Now, I am a 20% tipper, but adding it automatically and to the after tax amount is pretty absurd for a group of 5 people. The menu usually has a line item that would address that, and you could probably expect that for a party of 8. Very surprised. They had a DJ spinning music like it was the boardwalk in seaside. Kind of odd. Made it very loud and almost impossible to talk to each other. In my earlier review, I noted that there were tv’s in the bathroom. It looks like they were either removed or someone stole them. Due to the condition of the wall where they were, my money is on them being ripped off the wall. Probably won’t be back for a third time.

I hate their name. Every time I drive by I lose the Game. EVERY. TIME. That aside, this actually a really fun bar. There are sooooooo many TVs so you’ll never miss a game. I enjoyed the wings but haven’t eaten a full meal here yet. Most importantly, the beer is pretty cheap. They sell 100 oz beer tops of Shock Top! At the same price as other domestic beers! I’m sold. Like any other sports bar, expect it to be packed at game time.

So, here’s the thing about The Game. It has a ton of potential but has been executed with extreme failure. First off, its way off the beaten path and unless you’re from the area you will never stumble across it. We walked in, on the Saturday after turkey day and there was maybe 10 people tops inside. Nice open space, 29(I counted) TV’s and one main bar. We sat at the end of the bar, the bartender came over. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 apps for now while she went back to «her» side of the bar. The Game has THEBEST deep fryer in the world. The deep friend pickles and deep fried blue cheese sticks(yup) were fabulous. We later ordered the game fries which were seasoned and also Black & Tan onion rings which were also good. Heres where the problem is: –There is a jukebox which interupts the main sound system when someone plays it. The owner came in with his children and they played 5 Just Bieber songs where there were people trying to watch a college football game. What do you do, tell the owner his kids have lousy taste in music? –The staff was the most unhappy workers on this specific day. Ill give them tha benefit of the doubt, maybe isolated. They also made comments to each other how they disliked their job in ear shot of us. –The mens room urinals have no sink near them. The sink is actually in the stall where the toilet is. Oddddddd, very oddddd All in all, not a bad place and not a bad idea but I think there are too many negatives to keep it open for long.

Came here on July for a UFC fight on the holiday weekend. There was really nobody there. It was great. I was tempted to order the heart attack burger. The burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Instead, I shared the sliders combo, a order of cheese steak with fries and lots of beer. It was nice to have audio of the fight. They were playing 70s love song before. Service was very slow but my group was there for 5 hours. I will consider coming back for other pay per view events. I will expect more people there next time. :(

I believe there are a few revisions made to the review below, to depict a more accurate description of The Game… Brian, lets call a spade a spade… the bartenders are nothing great to look at, and not rocket scientists for that matter either. not awful, but nothing great, so don’t expect to be tipped a superfluous amount of money for mediocre(being generous) bartending skill. As for the game being«winning» on all points… really? I am aware that a sports bar is a loud atmosphere to begin with, I’ve worked in one. but if you are sitting across from a person and have to scream at them in order to sustain a conversation, you have a serious problem. Although I’m not expecting a Queen Margherita-like ambiance when I walked into this establishment, I was also not hoping for a rock concert-like environment either. and seriously, the music in the background involved friggin bagpipes to make matters worse. The reason for my 2 star rating, is the fact that the food was definitely good. the nachos were extremely generous in portion size, and didn’t lack any cheese, beans, peppers, etc. They really were the saving grace of this place. Plasma tv’s were nice, however if your facing the street, you’re screwed and have to keep turning around to have any idea what’s being showed. And another piece of advice for those working at, and subsequently reviewing, the game… take the criticism you receive, and use it to make adjustments to ensure that your establishment survives in this awful economy… dont cry about it and get angry at the customers.

Me: Wow this place is really loud Husband: What? Me: This place is really loud Husband: I can’t hear you, this place is soooo loud. Service: Terrific. Server was super nice, bouncer moved chairs to find us a table. Appreciated. Beer: Is Beer. Food: Eh. Wing Sauce is good, wings not so much. They’re not crispy so the skin is cumbersome and mushy. Sliders: Rolls were kinda stale, otherwise decent. Fries: Raw inside. Lots of TV’s so looks like a good place to catch a game, if you pack ear plugs.

Someone PLEASE break the jukebox. This place attracts an 80/90’s lovin’ crowd that look like they’re still wearing clothes their mom picked out for their freshman year. No, I’m not being a snob. There were literally people there with clothes that did not fit. And when I say clothes, I mean sweatpants and sports jerseys. Yes, I know its a sports bar, but that doesn’t mean you show up wearing stuff from the Sears athletic section. Back to the music, why is it so loud? You cannot hear the person next to you because Def Leppard, Bön Jovi, G ‘n R, 4 non Blondes, Stevie Nicks, and even Don Mclean is blaring. Its a small place, so music that loud is so unnecessary. It seems like the owner had an idea to build a bar with a crap load of TV’s, which he did, and it works. Let’s just stop pretending we need to force some 80’s/90’s musical montage like its a nonstop beer commercial. Jukeboxes in the hands of people still reminiscing about their high school football team is a dangerous thing. Hopefully this place settles down, and turns into the chill corner sports bar that it needs to be.

I was pretty surprised by this place. I came here for lunch on Monday so there were only a few other customers. We started with clams in a beer broth. Not bad, clams definitely had a beer flavor to them. I then had a southwest cheese steak which had real steak, not steakums. It also had provolone cheese, corn, beans, lettuce, tomato. It was pretty good. Their French fries were also good-crispy on the outside and softer inside. This place is not very big and has 26 tv’s and then there are some more tv’s in the bathroom. I don’t quite get the rest of the décor but that doesn’t really matter. Our server was also nice. Looking forward to coming back here on a weekend to see how it handles a larger crowd.
