Will definitely be coming back! They offer a large selection of fabric at very reasonable prices, and carry some very cool vintage buttons and trim. They also keep a box of fabric remnants up at the front that they only charge $ 1 for. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service too!

This is a FANTASTIC shop for anyone looking for something far more unique than the typical JoAnn’s. Fun to sift through the hundreds and hundreds of fabrics. And the staff is extremely kind and helpful.

I decided to stop in to check out Sew What’s Mew Fabric Center on Main Street since I had a little time on my hands. While I was walking around, I noticed that there is a lot of fabric here not anything that is new, as the name suggests. Instead I found a lot of fabrics that look like they are from the 90’s and a bit on the conservative side. Also the place seemed really disorganized and dirty. Speaking of dirty, I came across tons of damaged fabrics. Looks like some of it got leaked on or suffered from flood damage.

Pro– –very large selection of fabric –friendly service –parking lot –very good prices Con– –only had one person working there(HOWEVER there wasn’t a long wait to be helped) –fabric selection though large didn’t seem to have the unique styles I’ve seen in shops in the city. Notes: –They have a website and a shop on Etsy –Sunday hours I would say I’d be back again but I live far away and don’t drive so no idea if and when I’d be able to get back to the shop for more stuff.

It’s ok. The fabrics were numerous and diverse, and the guy up front was polite as well as knowledgable. He gave a great deals and was honest about the prices automatically leading us towards the cheaper fabric. But not real good idea for a beginner like myself since the patterns he sold were quite old and there wasn’t much manuals like«sewing machines for idiots.»
