I did absolutely love Aldis meat and food until an employee at Walgreens told me a friend worked there and the meat is not fresh it’s frozen and thawed. She said Walmart does the same thing. How can they get away with saying in written form that the meat is fresh when it’s not?

I am becoming a connoisseur of Aldi’s. I took my sister to Bread Co in Shiloh for lunch then decided to come to this Aldi’s because it is right up the road… kinda. I like that a dozen eggs was $ 1.39, and they had lots of the Christmas items on clearance. I got the peppermint mocha pancake mix, even though I have not had the time to try the gingerbread pancake mix i bought weeks ago. I love the candy bars. The Dreemy(3 Musketeers knock off) is very much like the real thing. The snickers and mounds knock offs are just OK. The solid chocolate bars are way too good. These are the knock offs of the expensive candy bars. I have tried the one with the hazelnuts. too yummy! The sliced cheeses are bought often. I still don’t like the ice cream. I still can’t bring myself to buy certain things. Like health care products, aspirins and such, I do buy the terlet paper. $ 5.99 for the super soft 2 ply. i recently discovered the 12 grain bread that is awesome. Arnold Mo location is still my favorite Aldi’s. but it is definitely not the Aldi’s i grew up going to.

Absolutely love this place… First off, I think the produce here is amazing and i go through a lot of produce. i get my eggs here which are the cheapest around and milk too. even though i don’t get the greek yogurt here i enjoy i only have to pay 39 cents for regular yogurt that is just as good and way more cost effective for how much i go though. all in all i love this place because i can pick up all the groceries i need for the week for around $ 35. and that is awesome for how healthy i eat… most people will tell you eating good is expensive but go here and find out it ends up being way cheaper than eating junk at other places.
