I called Doug to get a quote on putting in a sink in the basement. He gave me a great price, did the job kept things clean and it was a great experience overall. I even had him fix another small problem. I highly recommend him to any one.

I was rehabilitation a bath. Tried to sweated Copper elbows into the main all brass shower faucet, well one leaked, i tried three times to reset, no cigar. Called Doug and son came next morning, all fixed. Reasonable priced too…

It was nice to do business with a local plumber that is honest and highly skilled. Doug came to address one issue and noticed another issue. This saved me from having one of those weekend emergencies that nobody can afford. He also cleared a block in my a/​c drain that could have cost me another trip charge later this year. I highly recommend this business.

I had called several other places and they tried to schedule my water heater repair for 1 – 3 weeks from the time I called. I called Doug and he was able to be at my house within an hour. His rate was cheaper than everyone else had quoted and he was very quick and professional. He didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need, just a simple fix. I would recommend his services to anyone!

Wow. What a great experience. I needed a few things taken care of and called one of those big ads from the phone book. They came out and gave me a quote for over $ 530. Their rep basically told me that they were over-​priced and that I could probably find someone to do the same job for about half of that. So, I thanked him for his honesty and gave Doug a call. It was around noon on Friday and he apologized for not being able to get here until 3:00. I explained what I needed and he said it would be around $ 100! When he (and his son) got here, he realized it would be a little more (I didn’t explain everything) but $ 130 was a steal!
We tried to turn off my main line shutoff and realized the valve was bad and needed to be replaced. No problem for Doug, he could replace that too and since he was already here, offered to do it at a discounted rate. He did everything I needed AND replaced the main line shutoff for $ 200! Still less than half of what the other place was charging, for less work! I gave him an extra $ 25 because he was so much cheaper. It’s amazing how much extra WE pay to help buy the big phone book ads!
Bottom line, if you need a plumber and want to support a small business that is family run, Doug Pyle is your man!
