When we pulled up I was not too sure about the place. It looks like a store front rather than a restaurant. I must say we were all very pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food. Mother(names Kay), husband and I, and two teen boys left very satisfied with the service(the bartender was running the whole show) and the meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

We love K Pub! The appetizers are great and beer prices are even better especially during happy hour. My favorite is $ 1.50 BudLights on Tuesdays. We have had several menu items and have yet to be disappointed. We have kids and it’s a kid friendly environment for sure. We go there once a week or once every two weeks. It’s great.

Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s not great. I met up with my aunt a few weeks back and I found it odd that for a place that calls itself a pub, you can’t get anything on draft. Not a deal breaker, but it is just unusual. I was not hungry, but my aunt got some of the bbq wings and she enjoyed them. I had a couple of drinks and they were fine. The bartender was nice, didn’t get up in our business as some bartenders tend to do when they are a bit slow. It is a bit out of the way for me, but worth stopping back in at some point in the future if I am in the area.

Tried this place on a whim after waiting unsuccessfully to get a table at Hogs Haus down the street. We were very pleasantly surprised. My kids got wings, and they were very good. They had good deals on the beer buckets, and a nice variety of Schlafly and Boulevard beers to choose from. The Cardinals game was on the TV. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. We saw a patron sitting with a group of friends, and it looked like he was crying. We thought it was kind of odd that he would be sitting there crying, while the rest of his party looked like they were having a good time. He eventually went out into the parking lot and it looked like he was going to get sick. Our waitress explained that he had taken the wing challenge that they have there. It looked to me like he lost :) This place is nothing fancy, but it has a nice warm feel to it. It seemed like the bartender, and some of the waitstaff were owners of the place(or just really enthusiastic employees — in a good way). We have been back a couple of times, and have not been disappointed.

I’ve driven by this little sports bar at least 300 times, and never noticed it. It doesn’t help that they are mostly hidden by Domino’s. If you’re looking for something fried… this might be your place. I know that some of the«crew» went a few weeks back for a CYE, and the reviews were good, so when I was deciding where to go for dinner tonight with a friend, we thought we should try the K Pub & Grill. Plus, I had a coupon on the back of a grocery receipt… $ 10 off a bill of $ 30 or more. Since Aimee said that the Cheese Balls were«SO» good, we got those and a couple happy hour beers. I asked for a side of Ranch dressing to go along with it, and the waitress happily told me it would be no problem. I may be too easily offended in this arena, but when we got our ticket, there was a $ 0.49 charge for the ranch. It has nothing to do with the measly $ 0.49. I am of the opinion, however, that when a restaurant ridiculously charges for a side of a sauce, they should let their patrons know before delivery. It establishes good will. You tell me that I will be charged, and let me make that decision about whether I would like it or not. I ordered the Chicken Philly… no peppers, no shrooms. I ended up getting a Chicken Philly… no flavor. The hoagie was good, but the chicken was dry and had a serious lack of flavor. Maybe all of the flavor comes from the peppers and mushrooms, but if that is the case, that sucks. I was having flashbacks of the delicious Philly’s from Pat’s Philly Steaks and Subs in Denver. Expectations weren’t met… not even really a little. My friend ordered the K Pub Burger which was said to be seasoned with some kind of special seasonings. As I don’t eat red meat, I didn’t try it, but said friend was really disappointed. I felt bad. I was the one who suggested it, and she said it was crazy salty. I got the chips, and my friend got the fries with the expectation that we’d split. The chips were very good. They were like house made Ruffles… crinkle cut and fresh. I love freshly made chips. The fries were okay… no more, no less than that. Our waitress disappeared at some point, and another guy started bringing us our food. A little while later, we saw her with her purse heading out. No one ever said anything to us about«John» taking over for her, which isn’t a big deal. We’re able to put two and two together as well as the next guy, but still. I guess the she waitress plays a little game of don’t ask, don’t tell at the workplace. I didn’t ask if I would be charged for my ranch dressing. She didn’t tell me. I didn’t ask if she was randomly leaving and having another server take over, and again she didn’t tell me. John was good. He asked how things were going multiple times. He was the waiter we expected and appreciated. When we had finished our meals, and I’d given him my coupon, he told me that we were about $ 5 short of the $ 30 mark. We ordered dessert to make up the difference. We got the brownie bites since it came down to a choice between that and some kind of Pumpkin Spice Bundt something or other. It came out greasy, fried and covered in powdered sugar. My friend literally took a bite and spit it out. I didn’t feel that they were as gross as she did, but I really don’t feel like the frying of the brownie bites was quite necessary. After our dessert, he came back with a new ticket and told us that we were still $ 0.35 short of our $ 30 ticket, but that he’d added a $ 0.35 misc food item. Not everyone would have done that, and I was very appreciative. Thank you, John. Very cool. I am not going to say that anything was bad. Although my friend might beg to differ… especially when it comes to the brownie bites… and possibly her burger. The food was okay, with the exception of the balls, and those were good. Server John was good. Unfortunately, we didn’t just go for John and balls. Mediocre Dining

My mouth is on FIRE, and I’m pretty sure this is what heartburn must feel like. Oh, it burrrrrnnnnsssss… I went to Sandy’s ‘Ridiculously Hot Chicken Wing Challenge’ UYE with a bunch of other Unilocalers(and a few non-Yelpers that *hopefully* will take the plunge and join the site as well? HINTHINT). The place itself is way out in BFE, but hey — I’ll travel for a crazy food challenge! KPub is a nice place with lots of TVs, plenty of tables, and even a nice bar area. It was really clean, too! Their menu contained lots of bar food staples(burgers, fries, fried cheese balls, etc.), but I was here for the wings. Oh my. So the Chicken Wing Challenge goes as follows: — You’re presented with 10 ghost pepper hot wings — You must eat every wing in 15 minutes or less — No water, no dipping sauces, etc. If you beat the challenge, the wings are free and your picture goes on the«Wall of Fame». If you lose, you pay. And your picture goes on the«Wall of Shame». Oh, and there’s a waiver. Does that add drama to the event or what? Anyway, the waiver was signed, and after much anticipation, the wings came out. Long story short: I ate one chicken wing before I waved the white flag of defeat. ONE. Nothing like paying for 10 chicken wings and only being able to choke down one. They were SORIDICULOUSLYHOT. And this is coming from a girl who adores spicy foods and managed to beat Level 25 of Pearl Café’s spicy challenge. There were watery eyes. Burning lips. Endless streams of swears coming from my burning lips. And I’m pretty sure I chugged more than my daily requirement of water tonight. Over an hour later, my mouth is STILL burning. From ONE chicken wing. God bless the souls who conquer all 10. Anyway, it was a fun event, and everyone who didn’t do the spicy challenge(in other words, the SANE people) seemed to enjoy their food. Kpub is way too far out for me to make this a regular spot, but if I was ever in the area again, I wouldn’t mind stopping by again. But no spicy wings this time. Now where’s my Pepto…

Wow. what a week for me! I made Elite, I had my first UYE *and* it’s my 100th review. What better way to celebrate than with a cookie cake?! Yeah, you heard me. *free* cookie cake. from Aimee. for having the UYE. Be jealous. It was delicious! Bet you wish you had a UYE like me… OK, so the idea for this UYE was the results of K Pub’s «Ridiculously Hot Chicken Wing Challenge». I can’t handle the heat, but it never keeps me out of the kitchen. I looooove chicken wings. So, I recruited a few braver-than-me Unilocalers and let them loose on the wing challenge. I’ll let them Unilocal their own experiences but let’s just say *My* sinuses are cleared from just sitting next to them eating these wings. It was that bad. I went for the plain olé parmesan garlic wings. Not spicy, thankyouverymuch. Delicious. The appetizer comes with 10 wings, which was about 2 wings too many for me. Huge, juicy, deep friend wings. I was in greasy wing heaven — my favorite! The only bad thing is that deep fried deliciousness takes *forever* so make sure and order an appetizer or risk chewing on your own arm out of hunger. Of course, this place is sorta out in the middle of nowhere in a strip mall so odds of me coming back aren’t great. If you happen to be in O’Fallon or passing through, for sure stop by this place and give them a try. It’s more bar than restaurant but still clean and a nice place to hang out. Even with the Rams on MNF and the Cardinals fighting to get into the playoffs it wasn’t crazy crowded. The bartender/waiter was friendly and managed to handle the whole crowd with ease — he even split up our checks and didn’t mess any of them up!

I like this little sports bar out in O’Fallon! I went to witness the crazies attempt the spicy wing challenge, and well, read Stephanie S’s review to see how that went down. I feel for you guys, seriously, because I put a TINY drop of that wing sauce on my tongue and it burnt my entire mouth. In fact, a few minutes later I itched my nose and I couldn’t stop sneezing. I seriously don’t recommend the challenge even if you think you like spicy, because it was BAD… The only other food item I can comment on are the cheese balls… I tried one of someone else’s, and it was SO good. Think a few different types of cheeses, rolled into a ball, and dipped into a sweet and savory sauce. The appetizer menu is actually really awesome and perfect for watching a game or two! My standard rum & diet with lime tasted as expected and had a decent amount of booze. My only gripe is that everything took so long to come out! Maybe it was the spicy sauce that took some preparation, but we waited well over 40 minutes for our food and it wasn’t that busy. Tons of good food options, plenty of TVs(cool hearing people cheer for Rams and Cards at the same time) and definitely a good spot if you’re out in O’Fallon. But don’t do the spicy wing challenge, unless you are looking for an ER trip in your future. Sandy is awesome for planning this UYE!

If you’re a fan of HOT wings, this place has the hottest I have ever eaten. Only down side was no dairy product to cool things down. Try if you dare, but consider yourself warned… lol.

Wow, so many beers and drinks to choose from, smoke free, and friendly staff. Great place to grab a drink some food and watch a game! Great food, they even gave out dessert for free, items they were thinking of adding to their menue. GO and visit them at K Pub and Grill

K-Pub is the new clean smoke-free bar with a identity crisis. 6 flat screen TVs– sports bar? Full pub menu including New York style pizza, steak & shrimp… pub? 1 man acoustical show on this night– music venue?(usually just jukebox) Full bar of alcohol w/no beers on draught– calling it a pub… The plain Pork Wings have been the shockingly great surprise of what I tried on the menu– the BBQ dipping sauce is on the sweet side for my taste. They have some other interesting offerings like the«ridiculously hot chicken wing challenge»(finish the ghost pepper based«supposed» 4 – 4.5 million scoville scale sauced 10 wings in 15 minutes & they are free– lose & they take your pic for the«wall of shame” — maybe official Unilocal-challenge). I would also like to come back & try the Philly Beef & Cheese Pizza with a A-1 based sauce… want others to share in both experiences. On the first visit, I had the sloppy Beef Brisket Sandwich(sloppy in a good way). The side was a pretty good creamy cole slaw, but they also offer 8 others including onion straws(?). The K-pub Caesar Salad, I ate, was served in a big wood bowl & was fresh romaine with parmesan and was simple, but was what I expected & wanted. The other meal I ate was a daily special here– fish tacos. Phenomenal! The sauce was soooo good. Overall, this is a clean nice place to have a drink & grab something to eat & watch a game, but not sure what category to describe the place…

I share the same experience as Diana. I drive by this place all the time, and finally said«why not.» I went with my girlfriend just after the usual lunch time. The place was friendly, and I could tell by the patrons there that this is a down to earth pub. My meal was a cheesesteak, no mushrooms with a side of coleslaw. My cheesesteak was incredible, not as good as in Philly, but close to perfect. The coleslaw was good, too, but not sure if it’s purchased or made there. Regardless, it tasted right. My girlfriend went with the Chicken Cesar wrap, which is something you would think would not be that hard to screw up, but you would be surprised at some places. As for how it fared at K’s, it was great. Our overall experience has K Pub & Grill at the top of our list for a good place to have a meal and a drink, or two.
