T-Bones Natural Meats

Damn, I just wrote a review about a meat market that I always go to, and how I never stray from them, and then I am reminded of T-​Bones.
T-​Bones is the perfect compliment to my favorite traditional meat market. My regular place has all the best when it comes to steaks, brats, sausages, etc. I never stray, I promise! But T-​Bones, this place got my attention after I joined a gym and started eating lean meats and making an effort to be «organic.»
Most, if not all, of the meats and poultry are brought in from farms owned by T-​Bones owner, Terry Yake. If that name is familiar, you need to add me as a friend, because us Blues fans need to stick together. Yake played for the St. Louis Blues from 1997 until about 2000, and in that time T-​Bones was born. But back to the meat.
As a hockey fan, just knowing this was an alumni owned business, I had to check it out. As a «healthy eater» I needed a place to buy some Bison and good range fed chicken. T-​Bones fits the bill… to the «T». (had to do it!)
I’ve since fallen off the gym and healthy eating track, but I swear I will be going back, and when I do, I will be spending more time down at T-​Bones to pick up my healthy meats!
As an FYI-​last time I was there, they had Beef, Pork, Bison, Chicken, Shrimp, and Elk meats available. I’d suggest asking for some cooking suggestions for the Elk. I have a feeling I messed up when cooking my Elk Burgers. Either that, or Elk is really gross…

Fantastic meat and the brats/​sausages are the best I’ve ever eaten. Friendly service and great selection. Very glad this is in O’Fallon.

I recently bought a Groupon for T Bones since I drive by the place a lot and was always wanting to drop in and try it. I am so glad I did… this place is AMAZING! The groupon we purchased was for brats, so we went in and talked to the owner. All of the brats are locally processed and there are so many different flavors. We bought mushroom and swiss brat, black pepper and blue cheese brat and apple cinnamon brat. We had the mushroom and swiss brat last night and it was by far the best brat I have ever had. We just had it straight up on a bun. It would have been an insult to put any type of condiment on it. It was so good we brought one over to our neighbors for them to try. I cant wait to try the other flavors. We are never buying grocery store bought brats anymore!

Wow, I love this place. Buffalo meat is amazing. Everything is flash frozen and easy to thaw. I can’t wait to stop in again and stock up on some good natural grass feed protein. Great place!!!
