This place is great! Now it is very hot so if that is not for you don’t go. But the instructors are great and all kinds of people go there so you will not feel intimidated if you can’t do everything in the class. I always feel so much better after going. I wish I had the time to go more often.

I attend the Vinyasa Flow class quite often. The instructor almost always takes time to speak to new students before the start of class so that they know what to expect from the class. The class is advertised as an intermediate to advanced level class so one should expect such poses. It gives students the opportunity to play around with different or more advanced poses than they would find in a class with a set sequence. However, a modification is always offered so that those students who are not ready for the full extension of the pose can still benefit. The instructor is very observant of each of her students. If she sees a student out of alignment she will offer hands-on adjustments to not only avoid injury, but also better their body awareness and yoga practice. She provides an environment that allows students to attempt new poses without the fear of judgement. All of the instructors at YCM bring their own individuality to the class. I know that when I attend a Vinyasa Flow class at YCM I will be pushed to new limits, learn new poses, but most of all have fun!

The studio is beautiful, clean, spacey! The class I attended was not heated and the first pose we did was Fixed Firm pose. My legs weren’t warmed up for that! Class included middle to advance poses with little modifications offered. We had blocks and straps but they were used sparingly. From observation it looked like the new students didn’t know how to use them. More instruction would have been nice. The new student next to me went into a full fledged Standing Head to Knee with a bent standing leg. That’s a pretty advanced pose to bust into! Yikes I thought she was going to get hurt. The class was described as a vinyasa flow but it didn’t quit«flow.» We didn’t cool down much or take it down to the ground like a usual vinyasa class would. I don’t recall any instructions for the new students at the start of class. Also there was no instruction of breathe and breathe is such an important part of the practice.

Amazing classes. You must try it all. I did not used to like Yoga and because of Yoga Core & More I now LOVE Yoga. They have an original series that can’t be beat.
