Be Aware !! I got there for price adjustment. With receipt and item with tag. First the acting manager she said this item price did not went down. When I said I can see that it went down in your store, then she is said I can only adjust if you buy anything else. I said I have done with other guess store and other brands too. She was arguing. Finally she agreed on. But she was rude. Then I wanted to return other item(a flip flops) She said she cant take it because they don’t carry that styling. I am guess list noir member. I have seen that same style earlier in their store as I buy a lot from guess but she did not agree upon. Then I did not wanted to argue with that stupid person who make fool of you. I am complaint to guess customer complaints, they say they will forward to District Manager. Let see what next I will update about it. But guys seriously they make fool of you.

Just got back from Guess Oakbrook. Tried to return a sweater I bought at Guess Vegas with tags and receipt, but the tags were unattached. Purchased the sweater 10 days ago. I was RUDELY informed of the ‘the tags are unattached so you can only get a store credit’ policy– which irked me but I was willing to deal with it. But the over-the-top attitude of the salesperson YOLANDA was outright disrespectful. She condescendingly repeated the policy a few times like a parrot– attitude and eye rolls and deep sighs all along the way. I asked to speak to a manager and she informed me that there were 3 managers on staff. 3 managers working on a Tuesday evening at 6? At that tiny little store? I thought not, but asked her if she happened to be one of them. She stammered a little bit and then said ‘yes’. I said great, I want your name and I would like to speak to another manager. I told her I didn’t really need an attitude. She argued with me about the attitude comment and then reluctantly gave me her name after asking about 3 times. She grabbed another woman who was working the floor and gave her the rundown. Her name was Dori. I relayed to Dori that this was no longer about the bogus policy, but rather the horrible attitude of the previous associate. The response? ‘Aww, ok. Do you want to look around?’ No apologies, nothing – to tell you the truth I don’t even think she was listening to me. I have my doubts that she was a store manager either, but at least she said please and thank you. When I left I asked her for her business card, and I was just given a generic Oakbrook Mall card with no name and no real information. An email to corporate will soon follow from me!

Ok, they have some nice denim. But it’s pricey… not horrible especially if you want decent quality. I saw a cute deimn jacket, and some fun colored/patterned denim. However, unfriendly staff gave me no desire to stay in the store after browsing around. I walked the entire women’s side, no one said a word to me. I even was right by the register where an associate was… where she wasn’t busy, and still nothin’!

Helpful staff, great managers especially Aggie & Carrie! Love them! Even though it’s the smallest Guess store it’s the best. Recommend it rather than michigan ave and woodfield.
