No complaints except for finding the place! The address does not exactly let you know where it is. It is just around the area! You would have to follow signs and look for the very small sign you cannot see when driving!
There are free refills of coffee and soda in the building. It is nice and clean with helpful staff! The place has a good variety of classroom sizes. Plenty of space for a huge event! The food was excellent which was tasty and filling. The brats were very good and burger cooked right! A good assortment of soda to choose from as show in my pictures. Everything was great with the place so no complaints except finding it!

While this is the corporate training facility for McDonald’s Corporation, Hamburger University is also a world class training center available for rental for groups seeking meeting space in the suburbs of Chicago.
Located on the McDonald’s global campus– the Hamburger University of today in no way resembles the original Hamburger University which was in the basement of a McDonald’s restaurant back in 1961. When Ray Kroc first dreamed of his restaurant empire, he knew that in order to grow he was going to need people who were trained. .and with that Hamburger University was created.
To date– over 80,000 McDonald’s Owner/​Operators, restaurant managers and mid management have graduated from this University. And you may be surprised to know that many of the classes taught here are college accredited. On any given day, you may see members of McDonald’s top management and restaurant managers walking the halls.
And if you do visit– make sure to stop by the 1^st floor history of McDonald’s exhibit and full size re creation of Ray Kroc’s original office. It is sure to spark some memories as people of all ages reflect on how this global Brand has touched their lives in some way.
The Frank Lloyd Wright style of building is beautiful with it’s stone floors, prairie style design and windows that bring the outside in where ever you look. And given it is situated on the bank of a small lake, the wildlife is also abundant.
If you are outside of McDonald’s and want to rent space out for your next meeting– it is a state of the art meeting facility with classrooms that can accommodate 10 to 1000 with catering available from the Hyatt Lodge also located on campus. In fact– if you want to schedule your next event at Hamburger University– it is scheduled through the Hyatt.
Hamburger University. While once only available to those who work at McDonald’s, is now open to the public and ready for your next meeting…that is if you want a place that is truly unique and inspiring.
