I had a horrible experience with THIS agency. I will say after «THIS» agency found out about my story they did their best to correct the issue, which I appreciate. I didn’t get the money i lost back but the agency did apologize for the «misunderstanding».

In my naivety, I felt I could actually «trust» my possible future insurance agent. Unfortunately, he took my credit card info to charge me $ 2 to «lock my rate in». I specifically told him that I was still shopping around for home/​car insurance and would get back to him about my decision. Two weeks later, I received a hand written «Welcome to the State Farm family» card and a few days after, a bill for my car insurance! WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I feel manipulated and betrayed! I feel scammed! I immediately called my «friendly» agent to voice my concern. He was definitely taken aback. You could tell he was a little shocked and surprised… he had been caught. Ofcourse he was out of the office and he would deal with my concern on Monday (it was late Saturday afternoon).
Definitely NOT going with State Farm now.
By the way, they DO NOT give good rates on car insurance and I’ve been a «safe» driver for over 5 years.
$ 10 more than Farmers and Allstate.
