I was disappointed in the facial today. I had a $ 110 gift certificate and of course im talked into a $ 150 collagen facial, since Suzie said that’s the first thing she thought of when she saw me. I’ve had plenty of facials from Mario, Allison Andrews, independents and cruise ships, this was by far the worst. She spent the entire time talking and selling, not to mention pointing out every flaw on my body. I’m not kidding she tried to sell me a brush to exfoliate my arms. Of course she had a product that could fix it all. In the car on the way home I rubbed my face and heavy cream was peeling off. I washed my face soon as I got home. I have never felt this way after a facial. In fact this is my first review on Unilocal. Don’t waste your $$ on a short, «salesy«facial. Now that I think of it, I am going to call tomorrow. This was terrible. I like Nordstrom but never ever again in the spa

I am a spa snob, so this review rating is focused on Vicki Quaranta nail care therapist and not the spa as a whole. Vicki is the shiz! I went for a mani/pedi a couple of weeks ago. Haven’t had a mani in serveral years and as for the pedi, post-winter my feet looked more like hooves than feet ;) Vicki is phenomenal. She is so lovely and there is zero negativity during the process. I mean this in the best way possible, it is like if a disney princess gave you a mani/pedi. I truly felt pampered by Vicki. Her customer service was amazing as well, and focused on me and what I wanted. Love her! As for the spa overall, doesn’t quite meet the expectation you have when you think of Nordstrom. No quiet room, and the waiting area was crowded with lots of people standing and only 2 chairs-one shoved up against the check out counter. The staff there however are flawless and amazing! Great staff, underwhelming surroundings.

I am not okay with paying for a massage and having to spend the whole time being offered products. I paid for massages and facials for my husband and me and I looked forward to an upscale experience and my disappointment surpassed My excitement. From the time the lady walked in to give me my massage she started to offer me products. My husband had the same experience in a separate room since their rooms were not big enough for couple massages. At checkout I had to tell the lady who rang me up that all the products that were placed in the front I did not want. Such a disappointment! I expected more from a spa inside of nordstroms. It was little. I would not go back.
