Very friendly staff, they’ve redone some of the inside and did a good job, the guy behind the deli was very nice and helpful and I think his name might of been Jamall not sure. I’m in love with their floral department. I’ll come back.

In general, I hate Pick N Saves. They’re almost always overpriced, with a crappy selection of stale and expired food. So, when I stepped foot in this store, I had to double check the signage to make sure I actually in a PNS. While not the best grocery store, this isn’t half-bad. One of the highlights is the international food section, which adorably groups items by city(Tel Aviv, London, etc.). There’s also a dedicated section for vegan snack foods! The prices are pretty typical for PNS, but on the plus side, the sales can be pretty decent. My one sticking point for the rest of the chain(in addition to the sticky floors and crumbling buildings) is the atrocious service. I haven’t experienced that here. Although the service isn’t anything to write home about, the staff has been pretty efficient and pleasant, and the lines seem to move fast enough. I would love to see self-checkout lines, however.

Prices are high compared to other local grocery stores. Many times, only a couple check out lanes are open and the lines are long. They use to have self check out lanes but they are no longer there. People use the express lanes for a regular check out and the cashiers don’t say anything, it sucks if you only have a Fallon of milk.

I haven’t been going here as often as I used to. With Target having food and Peapod delivery making my life easier, I just have other options available. On a positive note, during a recent visit I noticed that they have added a Global Cuisine section, with quite a varied selection.

I shop at pick n Save, because of the pay and benefits(union) that their employees get.-For that type of work. I prefer them over Woodmans. Now, this location is not as good as the one on 27th and Ryan, but its adequate. Please don’t use the self checkouts. I would rather have somebody pay personal attention to me and bag my groceries for me, unlike Woodmans. Which I’ve been told by their employees that he wants to put more and more self checkout lanes in. WTF. I’ll pay a little more shopping at pick n Save, because I believe it’s worth it

Why does just about every PNS in this city have to have a maddening layout? People complain about Woodman’s down the street, at least everything is in somewhat of a straight line! I stop in here sometimes before I go to the store down the street to pick up certain items that are a good deal at the time and I regret it every time. Employees are not very helpful and bordering on rude. Sales items are continually out of stock when I shop in the evening. If I can remember not to stop here, I won’t.

It’s in a very convenient location(Puetz and Howell) with a huge parking lot, which is good because chances are that your spot will suck with how crowded this place usually is. It’s a very big store with a pharmacy, optical place, hair salon, liquor department, and Dairy Queen. It’s the only grocery store in the immediate area besides Woodman’s(which is too huge to roam around if you just need a gallon of milk).
