Went for breakfast and coffee. Wasn’t the worst, but is wasn’t a place wed go back to.

Overview — For a place that has a jam packed menu, they nail it all! Food 5⁄5 Customer Service 3⁄5 I’ve had a lot of different food from here(pizza, Mac n cheese, cheese steak, breakfast wrap, croissant sandwich, salads, donuts, and more) and I’ve been impressed with it all! There’s an O&H bakery attached that serves the absolute best donuts and Kringle. Really, this place has it everything. Customer service is ok, can be hit or miss. Never rude, but not always eager to make my experience unforgettable.

I ordered the steak quesadilla. Food came fast and looked appetizing from the start. Took my first bite and changed my mind. Super greasy. Steak didnt look like steak and i dont even know if it was steak. Tortilla was tough and stringy. Barely any cheese in the thing. Only good thing about this place is the bakery side. Wont be back

So, the dish is nestled behind a gas station, a little hard to find. For that reason, I always forget about it. Given my rating, maybe I’ll keep forgetting, I am sad to say. The pizza is really good. My company office is nearby and we’ve ordered it before. Much, much better than your standard chain pizza which is usually pretty terrible in my opinion(thick, doughy breading, light on the toppings, greasy) whereas The Dish tastes fresher and has a nicer crust. The problem in the past at work was that they can’t deliver on time. And it was a terrible wait, I want to say 45 minutes to an hour late on delivery. That’s really not acceptable and especially since there are down the street. So, my company has pretty much given up on them for catering. Too bad. My the real source of my review is on my personal visit there, where I paid and it was just my food. The sandwiches are so dainty. It looked pretty pathetic when I opened the box at my desk(it was a to go order). It just looked so sad and lonely and tiny. I’m not sure exactly what it needed… more filling? Some side garnishes? The sandwich was a rye panini, grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. I like that you can choose your type of bread at The Dish. Options are always good to have. But, I know that I could make a better version of this at home. I opted to get the lunch meal deal because I wanted soup and saw the chicken and dumpling of the day which got my attention. As if the sandwich was not sad enough, the soup was worse. I am not kidding here, there was NO chicken in that chicken and dumpling soup. It was literally broth with 4 dumplings and a few scattered cubes of carrot & some bashful celery. I even called them to tell them their soup had no chicken and was mostly broth with 4 dumplings. They offered to replace the soup and I declined. I want businesses to know that I am not«complaining» for free stuff or because I hate my life or to be a bully — I am letting them know to try and help them out, get better and also help notify them for the other customers that will order this and also be disappointed. This soup was a laughing stock(pun intended). Oh and you get a bag of chips off the rack. I like that there were a lot of baked chip options. The sandwich, broth, chips, drink was $ 10.54. There are a lot of baked goods inside: doughnuts, birthday cakes, kringles, cookies, FYI.

Just ordered pickup. Got it home and the philly cheesesteak had a tiny amount of meat — it struggled to cover half of the bun. The fresh mozzarella and tomato sandwich only had one sad, small slice of tomato on half of the sandwich and not one leaf of basil. See the pics I posted of our food next to the pics on the website. I drove it all the way back and the staff rudely said that the meat is pre portioned so there’s nothing they would do. They said they could remake the tomato sandwich but still charge me full price. They called the manager who apparently told them to either refund and take back the food, or I could accept it and keep it. We let them take the food back and went somewhere with better service and food.

Love it. When I’m in town visiting the boyfriend, I stop here for a hot cup of coffee and maybe some kringle. Today, I decided to hang out and work on some homework and was so happy. So quiet, smells so good, generally pretty low-key and quiet, free coffee refills and great prices. There is only one outlet if you have your laptop, as I did. However, free coffee refills! This place would be awesome if it was near UCLA. (and they serve alcohol!?)

Although it looks like a drive through coffee shop, they actually serve full breakfast, some lunch and dinner, and it’s a bakery. The Chief of Staff ordered Hoppel Poppel, which is always different but a descendant of German immigrant cuisine that’s best in a Jewish deli situation. The best I ever had was at What’s Cooking in Chicago, they’ve since retired. The version here was okay, they had a little trouble coordinating breakfast for two, so my eggs came cold, but otherwise it was pretty good. The baked goods are excellent, they have Kringle so that alone makes it worth the stop(it’s not far off 94), we got a loaf of multi grain bread that was delicious. I also had some cake(it was calling me like Alice in through the looking glass telling me to, well I guess you could take it wrong if you haven’t read the book), the baked goods are much better than the hot breakfast. Excellent fresh hot coffee, we’ll be back.

We were not impressed. Went on a Friday night. Place was fairly busy. Soda station was a mess. Dishes, napkins abd garbage on counter. Food was overpriced. Staff was not friendly. Not a good value for your money. The good thing was that they sold kringle.

The food her is not good. I ordered Mac and cheese for my kids which was soggy. The soup was awful. The cookies were old and hard as a rock. We will definitely not be returning.

Great place hidden behind a gas station. Good selection of real food. Plus they have a drive through. It is not fast food, though. More like quick food. Pizza is great and they have a good selection of bakery/breakfast items as well.

The staff has always been friendly and the food is quality. Seriously, the restaurants in the Franklin/Oak Creek area are horrendous. This restaurant is like an Oasis in a food desert filled with chains restaurants and bar food.

Solid food, but easily forgettable. Friendly staff, huge menu, but kind of a strange location.

I had the Chuck Roast Sandwich on a Pretzel Roll and it was delicious. I got the gravy on the side because they tuck alot of meat into that pretzel roll. You could actually eat this with silverware too — it’s a meal. I followed that up with an O&H Bakery Cyclops and it made for a great foodie day and all for under $ 10. «I call that a bargain.»

I’m impressed with their new pizza delivery. I have not tried anything else… But it tastes well and is always on time. Worth a shot to try at least a few times! Update: very impressed with their customer service over the last few times. In the most recent weather with icy conditions, they gave their delivery drivers the night off. I fully respect their decision to do that. Furthermore, they offered a 25% discount if you were willing to come pick up yourself.

I was out in Wisconsin on business and the Dish was recommended to me. I was told that the Mac N Cheese was to die for so I decided to give it a try. I was quite disappointed. The Mac N Cheese was kind of soupy which I’m not used to at all. My two friends that were with me were also disappointed in their food. I didn’t even finish it all which is odd for me. I do not recommend the dish. If you’re in Franklin, try the Hideaway which is definitely amazing.

Stopped by for breakfast. They bring baked goods up from O&H Bakery in Racine(always amazing). My dad had the Farmer’s Breakfast, which he enjoyed. Pretty standard eggs, ham, and hashbrowns. Really good multigrain toast. I had a egg sandwich on a croissant, which was also good. A step up from a fast food place, with really good bacon. Less than $ 10 for both of us and we both walked away feeling satisfied. Also, it took only about 5 minutes to get our food.

Generic pasta place… thought there would be more sandwiches to go along with the stuff, but not so much. When we sat down at our table it smelled as if a WETDOG was sitting there before us, quickly I realized the table was cleaned with an extremely dirty dishrag that must have been sitting around for weeks! We moved to another table, but of course smelling something like that always makes you question a places cleanliness. YIKES.

Leave it to my dad to drag me across the suburban wastes to eat in a former car wash or whatever the hell this place used to be. Honestly, The Dish is way better than I thought it would be. I had the Mardi Gras Chicken sandwich, which had bacon, provalone and a red pepper aoli. The chicken was a bit rubbery, but altogether it was pretty decent. Pops ordered a grilled chicken ciabatta and was pleased with it. The best part about the Dish is that they bring in goods from O&H Bakery of Racine, AKA the best thing that ever happened. My diabetic dad shed a tear on the way out the door after drooling over the Pecan Custard Rings. I’ll be back to gorge myself on kringle and danish some other time, because rubbing his nose in it just isn’t nice. Get the raspberry kringle, thank me later. You’re welcome in advance.
