Johnston Tiling Installation

If I can figure out how to post before and after pics I will. We first met Rich Johnston in the every early 1990’s. He worked on the floor of our first home. The floor installation was nothing short of perfection (and I am a fussy one). But after he finished that flooring installation, my neighbor then used him to re-​tile every inch in her bathroom and it was spectacular!
Since then we have moved and now, Jan 2010, and after all of the years I had kept Rich’s name and number and was thrilled to find out we could still reach him at the same #. :O) Due to my work schedule, we could not get time for this week long project of gutting our Master bathroom. The builder’s tile job was horrible! This house is only 10 yrs old and I found a 4-​tile square in our shower that had been caving in. GRRRRRR! So, until then we had to live with plastic sheets taped to our walls to prevent water from entering and leaking or molding.
Anyway, Rich pulled it all out (walls and all) and the tile floor, too. We went to Lowes and got American Olean tile, which Rich said he was surprised how easy it was to work with versus the tiles from the tile stores. The new MB is fantastic. We did not have our grout, ‘cuz we had no idea what to buy, Rich found the grout for us and it is a PERFECT match. We also had to have special pieces made to use for a baseboard, ‘cuz I did not want the wood baseboards anymore.
The tile work he did was perfection, AGAIN. We will be redoing our kitchen with granite in the near future, and Rich will be the one to do our backsplash. It’s awesome! Thanks, Rich! What a great guy! :O)
