Baskin-Robbins

If you have a coupon, make sure you print it out. Doesn’t matter if you get the coupon off of an app like retailmenot. It has to be printed off. Which I was so rudely told by the woman behind the counter. And when I let her know it was on an app, she kept saying to print it off. Another customer in the store even told her you can’t print off an app. Hopefully my ice cream tastes better than that woman’s attitude. Because she sure as hell tried to make it so nobody enjoyed their ice cream.

Drove over from Edmonds, to spend the day on Whidbey. Decided to stop here for a snack. Very polite staff. Prices are average. A very large selection of flavors.
Bathroom was gross, but the employees are very nice & polite.

Okay, enough is enough! We used to love coming here as the service we received from the lady was fantastic. The last three times I have come have each been a bad experience. Who the kid is that’s been working evenings has been rude, condescending, and he has even downright ignored other customers. This last time I came 20 minutes before closing and the doors were already locked. I tried to politely ask through the door what their hours were and he looked me in the eyes, then turned and walked away without even acknowledging me. I’m done with this store!

I went in last week & I had awesome service from the woman who was working. She was so sweet, had great customer service & I ordered exactly the same thing as I had today & everything was 100% different, unfortunately.
I went in today with my kids hoping for a repeat experience. Didn’t happen. The man working at the counter shouldn’t be working in customer service if he obviously dislikes customers so much.
I asked him for a Turtle Blast & he sighed & walked away. Ok then… He comes back, gives me my drink, & I ask him for a Kid Scoop & he walks away before I can tell him what else I want. He gives me my daughter’s ice cream & he is obviously irritated that I want to spend more money & get another ice cream when I ask him for another. I ask him for a Single Scoop this time & he says, «You mean a Junior.» Uh, no. I mean a Single if that’s what I ask for. I asked him if there’s a difference & he gets cocky & says, «Uh, YEAH, it’s smaller.» Which is exactly why I asked for a Single instead of a Junior. He gets my son’s Single & it’s exactly the same size & the Kids Scoop, which is tiny. When I point this out, he says, «You want me to take some out of your other cup?» Wow. How about you make my son’s the size it’s supposed to be instead?
I tried my Turtle Blast & it was all ice. It was terrible, no flavor. I can’t believe how vastly different the service was from last week. It was such a waste of money going to this place. Bad customer service is a major deterrent & I unfortunately won’t be going back.

Ok, so I normally wouldn’t go to baskin robbins, but since there aren’t many ice cream options in oak harbor that I know of, I went. I know it’s weird to say ice cream tastes bad, but this one did. I ordered pecan praline and it tasted old. My stomach was hurting afterwards too. Will not be returning. I must say, however, that the waffle cones were nice and fresh. So maybe I will return, but only for a cone to go with my FRESH ice cream at home! Lol

I haven’t been to a baskin robbins in about 15 years and my experience today isn’t going to have me running back for more. It was a bit disappointing. I had the two scoop sundae with chocolate ice cream and jamocha ice cream with marshmallow topping. First of all, where the heck was the marshmallow? I almost hope they forgot marshmallow because I sure didn’t taste it. The ice cream was okay. Just okay. Too soft and not rich enough. I think I’ll stick with Ben&Jerrys…heck I think I’ll stick with Dairy Queen!
