Although I’m not from the area, I would recommend this salon to anyone in Oak Harbor, or passing through. Joshua gave me excellent customer service, from spending one on one time to get a thorough idea of my goals for my color, to making me a fresh cup of coffee when he saw me yawning(I work nights). He did every little nuance that I expect from an upscale salon service, with a genuine sense of enjoyment of his profession. No dramatic sighs, or eye rolls when I stated what I wanted. He kept me realistic, but still achieved the look I wanted. I will definitely be returning when I’m in the area.

Cannot say anything bad about this place. Environment was friendly and price was amazing. Paige did a absolutely amazing job with my hair. Got a partial foil, all over color and trim for just $ 95. I was paying way more at sheariously salon for just a ok job and ok services. This will be my new go to place to get my hair done.

I have really long, brittle natural blonde hair and they were great! They recommended great products without being pushy and trying to sell products. I’ve also had several massages there and OMG! Just fantastic! I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated afterward! Their services have been TOTALLY worth it, in my experience! They make customers feel so welcome and comfortable, and everyone who works there is just so hospitable. They really do a great job making customers feel confident they will have a great experience!

I love this salon after meeting the owner I decided to try it out after visiting a few other salons on the island. Wonderful staff and love the services. Robin is amazing and I am always getting compliments on my hair. Cindy does amazing nails and she is the sweetest person!

I am from out of town an due to the amount of plane and car traveling in a small amount of time, my neck and back are a bundle of knots. Woke up with a headache and decided to have a massage. I was able to get right in. The salon is cute. It was calm. The massage was good. I could of handled a little deeper when pressing into the pressure points but all in all I had a good massage. Felt better after than I did when I walked in.

As a full time road warrior, finding a decent stylist, in a strange town, is a real crap shoot. Toss in fine, curly hair and the opportunity for disaster is a risky gamble. Hazards aside, a girl’s got to keep her locks looking good so, once again, Unilocal comes through with a winner. Thank GOODNESS for The Gallery Salon & Day Spa and their curly-hair expert, Autumn Sundown. Clearly interested in knowing what the client wants, she listened closely and asked lots of questions before picking up her scissors. Once she started, she checked in, again and again, to assure I was happy with her progress. She finished the style using a Carving Comb, something new to me. The resulting haircut was one of the best I’ve received and well worth the moderate price tag. The Spa offers a full line of services, including wonderful massage. I booked a one hour massage with Ashley and was extremely satisfied with her work. Her knowledge and skill were apparent in her work; if I lived in this area, I’d visit her again and again! Relaxing encounter, professional services and appropriately priced… this Day Spa was an exceptional experience for this road weary traveler.

This salon is inviting, reasonably priced and the stylists are talented and listen to exactly what you want and do an amazing haircut and style. Ricki was my stylist and he was phenomenal. The view and cozy ambiance topped off the experience, a must go if you’re looking for hair anything :)

I have been here a few times, each time a little more painful then the first. I kept going back because I was happy with the result, but the result has never made up for the bad service . what i got: just a simple color, and slight trim I enjoyed that she grasped the«just a trim doesn’t mean 3 inches«and the color was dead on(it was simple brown) my usual . Price: was fair, $ 60 much lower than most what i really didn’t like is that they have multiple stylists all with VERY different prices. I know this from experience, they are not listed . The service: was awful *last time there she seemed very busy, in her own world. Talking with other hairstylists only nodding not conversing with me. Very annoying, when your getting you hair done, you like to chat, not talking to yourself. After the color was on she«disappeared» into a other room to chat with the nail tech. The WHOLE entire time. It was rude, and i just wanted to get out ! overall the service was awful, I was completely ignored, left not a minute after she had applied color, rinsed and shooed away . I’ll pass on going back, oak harbor has many salons this one should consider that competition is stiff and they will be losing clients with this«barely there hospitality’ * a time before(service) I got a color and was charged $ 80 apparently the two snips at odd part of hair was worth the«haircut«charge.

Overall, not a bad place for a haircut. I decided to change up the hairstyle while visiting my mom and wanted to get it done on a Monday. Bad mistake. Almost everything in this town remains closed on Monday. Fortunately, I was able to find this place open. Come to find out, only one stylist was working, but she fit me in. I didn’t think that she did the best job of listening to what I wanted, given that I asked for a trim and ended up with super short hair. But, like I said, it’s not bad. The price isn’t too terrible either — only $ 35 for a cut. Oh, but I must say that this place doesn’t come in styling to my favorite Salon on the Avenue in Utah — I kept fidgeting with my hair until I came home and was able to restyle it the way I like. Oh, and one big plus about the location. It’s on the second story of a building that houses some little shops, and overlooks the water — pretty nice scenery for the hour you’re there.
