Wind & Tide Bookshop

Awesome bookstore, even ordered a book for me. Selection varies, but they’ve been super friendly and helpful every time I’ve been in.

Great little book shop. The kids book selection was solid and affordable including some Gerald and Piggy books. The back area with the fireplace is also pretty sweet. My wife found a rock identification guide. I guess I would say that it is definitely geared toward the area.
As another reviewer indicated the woman there is great. Give this place (instead of amazon) a chance and you won’t be disappointed.

This is great one-​stop shop for almost everything. Everyone is super nice who works there and there’s a huge section for those new to area about all the hidden treasures of Whidbey and they can order anything for you. Very warm and friendly atmosphere.

this is a good little book store. I think that it’s contents are more geared towards the reading population of oak harbor… so there’s a lot of recipe books.
before all the kitchen sore opened up in down town, this was the best place to get cook books. Actually, i still think that it is… they have better quality ones i think. more «world cuisine» varieties then anywhere else… this is better for the open minded eater (a lot of vegan food is foreign).
they also have the best selection of children’s books on the island… sptop illiteracy, start em’ young. and a pretty decent selection of popular novels.
however, the best thing about this shop is that the owner lady (who is a sweetheart) is totally willing to order anything that you can’t find and can order it specifically to meet your needs (mine are cheap and unabridged paper backs).
