Waited at the front for 5 minutes while the hostesses tried to figure out how to split a check. Once seated, waited 10 minutes for our server. By that time I already knew what I wanted to eat so we ordered. Server did not bother to ask us what we would like to drink. Not once during the meal were we asked how things were. Started with the Feta and Olives and the Kalamaria. Figured one could not mess these simple starters up. Olives were not pitted and Feta was tackily placed in a pool of olive oil. Kalamaria was lightly breaded and easy to swallow. Pita was tasteful and warm. My entrée was horrible. I ordered the beef Mousaka. It was tasteless and mushy, lacking beef. After one bite I told the server I couldn’t eat it. The resolution was $ 10 off of the bill which didn’t cover the price of the Mousaka. Won’t be back.

We used to eat at Zorba’s on a fairly regular basis. In the past year, or so, we have noticed a steady decline, with our last experience being last night. We almost didn’t go inside because of that lack of people dining. We decided to go with it anyway because we were in the mood for a gyro. My favorite dishes used to be the gyros and the lamb chops. Our last trip they had taken the lamb chops off the menu; however, the gyro was still there. The gyro used to be loaded with big chunks of lamb and be very flavorful, so we went with the gyros this time. We were extremely disappointed. The meals came out in a timely manner. The gyros were a bit cold and there was a noticeable absence of lamb meat that used to be the norm. The chunks were also smaller and it was drenched in tzatziki sauce to the point we could not taste the lamb. We have since found out that Zorba’s has changed ownership… maybe that explains the unfortunate changes. The positives are that our server was friendly and the beer was colder than the gyro. Oak Harbor is a fairly small place and it is disappointing to see restaurants take a turn for the worse… it’s not like we have a ton to choose from. This one has, however, and we will not be returning.

This place is very family friendly. The setup is quite warm and comfortable. I would dine here for the Greek food which brings me to the decent arni psito If you’re really hungry for Greek food and lamb, I highly recommend this item. The lamb was quite flavorful. I’m not familiar with the dish but it does have a bit of fat on it so if you’re not into eating a lot of fat this dish may not be for you. The rice that came with it was an instant rice which I did find disappointing but they flavor the rice quite well so I’m OK with it. The green beans that came with it though was a bit sad. I felt it was a bit old and over flavored … I think I came in during a slow time because entrée I received seemed to be slightly under warm. If the dish was served at an optimum temperature I would have enjoyed the dish much more. The server is really friendly and offered exceptional service. I’m glad to have her as our server. I would go back to this restaurant again to try other items.

Food was great! My husband had the canjun chicken, I had the Mediterranean salad and it was excellent! The service was amazing, our waitress was funny and very nice!

We got a sort of sampler platter that was enough to feed two with leftovers. Nothing was remarkably good but it was edible.

Only eat a euro if you go here. The rice, beans, and potato that came with the euro were all awful

I’m writing a review mostly based on the service here. Food was pretty good for the restaurant type, but Cheyenne was awesome! Attentive, made sure we were taken care of, anticipated our needs. Very positive experience.

Mediocre Greek food at best. Rice was cold, green beans from a can, bag o lettuce type salad, thaziki sauce tasted like it came from a bottle. I had the beef slovaki and that was the only redeeming food. Would not likely repeat.

Had the misfortune to enter this restaurant for lunch, ordered sea food and ended up with a swollen lip, maybe they din’t bother to clean it well, and to top it all the owner is an extremely rude person.

This is my go to restaurant on the Island, if I can’t decided what I want I come here. I have never had bad service or a bad meal here. My go to choice is the Kota Lemonatha, it’s amazing and full of flavor. We had the homous dip as an appetizer and is was also very good. I’m not sure how this place ended up with so many bad reviews. I do wish they had a few more kid friendly choices…

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I have been here to many times to count and always had wonderful service and the food is always great. This is my «go to» place to eat on the island.

Truly awful food. Cold chowder. Ordered what the waiter recommended(lamb), and it tasted like what would happen to a lamb shank after you boiled it in salty water, no seasoning, no sauce, no flavor. Greek salad was weak, just iceberg, onions, feta, tomatoes for 9 bucks. Just writing this review to help warn any fellow Seattleites who wander in here for lack of options. I had a conversation with my wife tonight about how i’m a terrible food snob. So I have standards. But I wish we went to jack in the box instead of this place.

Enjoyed the food and service while we lived in Oak Harbor. One of the better restaurants around here.

Well it was one of the worst«Greek» restaurants I’ve ever been to. We started with the hummus, it was horrible. Grainy with no flavor. At least the pita bread was warm. My gyro was mostly sauce and some hard little pieces of meat. Very disappointed. Served in a takeout likepaper bag. Spent almost 40 dollars on a bad lunch.

Zorba’s is one of three Mediterranean restaurants in Oak Harbor. The service is consistently good here. As far as the menu goes, they do offer some decent authentic cuisine. You can also order Mythos beer here, which is nice. Decent food, good service. We have been back a couple of times.

The food was alright, but I have had better(on the island). The service was good. I would NOT label this as «authentic.» The scenery says 90’s Sizzler. The few framed pictures of Ancient Greek monuments just don’t do it. Food: like I said, I’ve had better. I ordered Lamb Souvlaki which tasted pretty good but I spent the better part of the meal trying to decide whether it was actually Lamb or beef. It wasn’t the kind of melt in your mouth texture I expected, more like grilled steak. It was good either way though.

My son and I went for dinner last night and to be honest I didn’t expect much after I looked at their menu online. We started with the calamari which is pretty standard and came with an obviously not homemade teasing sauce. My son ordered a cheeseburger and I ordered a Mediterranean salad. The burger was standard but the salad was horrendous. It was a Caesar salad drenched in store bought dressing, piled with croutons and drowned in feta and baby shrimp. I have to say it was huge but not good. The waitress has the nerve to tell me afterward the half order comes without the nasty garlic bread for 2 dollars less which she didn’t tell me when I ordered. Maybe I should have ordered the pasta?!

Maybe it would’ve been a different experience to eat in versus take out. But this was our first time having food from this place, we just came to the island and like the other reviews said not much choices here. We wanted Italian food and well, this was it that wasn’t really fine dining. Anyway, I thought it strange when we looked at the menu online that there were 3 or 4 off dishes for a restaurant specializing in «Italian & Greek» food… So when I saw things with teriyaki or Cajun that threw me off? Anyway, so when you look at the menu online there are no prices Next to the dishes? No description either so I had to call about that, phone etiquette was good. So we proceeded to order. Son had spaghetti bake, I had chicken parmesean, hub had shrimp fettuccine, FIL had shrimp scallopini. Appetizers were tzatziki with pita and zucchini sticks with ranch dipping sauce. The only good tasting thing was the tzatziki dish. My chicken parmesean was rubbery. The sides reminded me of cafeteria food. Every else was bland or oily. I, hubby, mom in law, could’ve made a better Italian dish at home. Now I don’t know if the«Greek» side of this food place but I don’t think id be curious to try. I met 3 people when I picked up my food. 2 out of 3 people were nice. This lady who rang me up didn’t have good customer etiquette. She had a «I’m having a bad day» kinda attitude which maybe she was? It was the way she talked… And no eye contact, no smile. Unlike the other lady who had great customer etiquette and even helped me bring my food to the car. So this is my review. All in all, not the go to place for Italian food, maybe different experience for dine-in? But now not curious to find out unless Chef Ramsay came to rescue the place.

I moved to coupeville in jan 2012 and unfortunately this was the first place I went to after moving to the island and I never sat down and ate the manager that was going to seat me and my family has to be the rudest person I ever met she was in a big hurry to seat us when I told her to wait a min as we were waiting for the other member of our party and she talked to me like I was crap under her shoes and I told her so and left. So aprox a year later I gave the place another chance as there is limited Places to eat in oak harbor and the food was over priced and had the texture of a TV dinner I regret eating there and wanted to pass on to save your money and have some Taco Bell instead as the quality at Taco Bell is 3 times better if that’s possible.

I came here last night for dinner. It is a nice walk if you are staying at the Coachman inn. My boyfriend and I ordered two pasta dishes, the Alfredo and the baked ziti. It came with a soup or salad. I picked a house salad which was good, and he got the soup of the day which he said was amazing. The pasta dishes were both awesome! We also got a wine and beer. Our waitress(I forgot her name) was the sweetest lady and gave us wine to sample. I would def come back here if I was in the area!
