Gene Z Walchirk, DDS

I just returned from having a root canal from Dr. Walchirk. I was nervous and I am very sensitive to having shots in my mouth. THIS GUY IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ENDODONTIST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! He is PAINLESS as well as calming and reassuring as I was quite nervous having had a not so great experience in the past. He really takes his time getting your mouth numb — and there was no pain — I felt nothing while he was getting me numb. He is experienced and competent in his field — he knows his business. When I was in the waiting room another one of his patients and I started talking and she told me that he was the best Endodontist she had every been to – and she also mentioned how painless his shots are. I cannot recommend Dr. Walchirk highly enough — he is a true master of his craft. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr Gene Walchirk DDS is worst doctor/​dentist I have ever meet. He cancels more appointments than he makes. He is rude to his patients. I would never refer anyone to his office.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gene Walchirk in Oak Lawn if you need a root canal. I was in a mini panic going in today and other than the pinch of novacaine, I felt no pain what so ever!!! Dr. Walchirk, along with his hygentist, Erin, went above and beyond to make sure this was a comfortable experience for me.
