Expensive and long lines. Nothing special on the menu. Parking not the best since they are right on 95th Street. I would rather go to Huck Finn.

Great breakfast spot! Great pancakes! Be prepared to wait for a little though this place gets packed fast!

Doesn’t live up to the hype. It’s over priced and the food is just mediocre. My mother had eggshells in her eggs and when she told them they just blew it off. They didn’t offer to replace her dish or anything. Spend your money elsewhere.

THE best breakfast dance in Chicagoland. Well worth any wait you must endure. The management and operations crew is top notch. Tough to get a seat but they are all over the turnover process. Staff, from manager, to waitstaff, to bussers and cooks make YOU the priority in their quest for perfection. Add those compliments to the fact that the basic notion is, they are a diner. There is no cheapness or cut corners usually part of the average pancake house. They do it right! Just walking in, you feel the pride they take in being top dog. Not just the quality food and ingredients… but the napkins, jellies, and silver wear aren’t the cheapest restaurant depot products that they can get. I applaud the owner(s) for taking pride in doing what they do, at the best level they can offer. I will always go out of the way to stop in for a Denver omelet and make sure my friends know the pancakes are well worth the price of admission.

Great food, just so small inside there is always a wait. Ordering for pick up is highly recommended, especially on weekends.

Minus the fact that there is alway a super long wait and the place is pretty small, their food was great. I ordered the stuffed French toast and it was enough to feed an army. Once we sat down the service was fast(probably because they were trying to get more people seated) but at the same time we were not rushed. I would definitely go back to try other items on the menu !

The food is ok. It is not as good as I remembered. This might’ve been a bad day but sone to go orders were in bags near the floor and the staff wasn’t very welcoming at the register. I probably won’t ever be back.

Stacked is a welcomed addition to Oak Lawn! restaurant scene. We went around 900am on a Saturday and it was packed. The manager was seating people as quickly as he could and kept the wait to a minimum. Very well organized. The seating is limited, it is a small space but it is worth the wait. The food came out relatively quickly and everything was served hot. Good enough ro convince a west sider to come south!!!

Cute little place with lots of windows, which means a ton of nature light! I was afraid of the wait based on other reviews. But it was shorter than the 30 minutes we were told upon arrival(about 20 minutes). The food was good. Nothing overly spectacular but good. Between three people, we had crabcake Benedict, traditional breakfasts, and the red velvet pancakes. The crabcake was light and flavorful and the red velvet pancakes were tasty. I only had a taste… or three of the pancakes because I didn’t order them. I must note that they were not overly sweet like some places. I don’t want to eat cake with breakfast, so I really appreciated the fact that they only had a slight sweetness to them. Next time, I will probably order them with my meal or try the french toast. A few things to note: 1) The water is AWFUL! I don’t know why it tastes like that but it’s not good. 2) The hashbrowns had a funny taste. I’m not quite sure what it was but something was off. 3) I witnessed one of the waitstaff dig in her teeth. To be fair, she did disappear from view immediately, so I’m not sure if she went to wash her hands(Lord, I hope so)! I really need people who deal with food to be cognizant of habits(touching hair, fixing clothes, touching face). I know we all do these things without realizing but it is really gross to see in a restaurant. Ending on a positive note, the staff was friendly. I’ll definitely return.

Great breakfast/brunch spot. Awesome french toast and pancake creations, awesome skillets and omelettes, and a friendly staff that knows regulars by name. What more can you ask for?

I have been here a good three times in the last five years. Can never say I have a bad experience. Not sure what some say about the wait times, as I have never really had a long wait. Eggs are always fluffy and delicious, and I love the teapots they bring the tea out in, with lemon. Consistently delicious and quick service.

I was anticipating coming to Stacked based on the 4 star Unilocal review average. Needless to say I am disappointed in my first experience at the restaurant today. The space is smaller than I realized. And for a Friday morning, the 30 minute wait was a bit much. They sat us in a tiny, little corner for our meal. The menu is decent however they do not serve grits. The food was just OK. I ordered the Olé Skillet with pancakes. Note: The skillet only comes with pico de gallo and there’s no salsa in the restaurant which I feel like could have been beneficial to the skillet. However, I did like the fact that they had chicken chorizo that I was able to substitute instead of regular chorizo for no price differential. And the tortilla chips and hash browns were extremely delightful. Unfortunately, the pancakes were severely dry and adding syrup didn’t help much. Overall, I’m not saying that I wouldn’t go back. I just won’t be back anytime soon.

This is my new fav breakfast spot in Oak Lawn. There is always a wait to get in there BUT it goes really fast. I typically always get the french toast which is nothing short of amazing. On Friday I ordered the eggs, sausage and pancakes which was delish. The coffee here is fab and french vanilla cream always is an added bonus. I will always visit as long as it’s open.

This places ranks a steady«average» in my book. Was the food good? Yes, but not memorable at all. It’s basically a nicer version of a diner. I got a veggies skillet. My friend got an eggs dish with pancakes and the works. We both ate the food… it was fine. Would I go back? Maybe. Is there anything there that left me craving? Nope.

One of my favorite breakfast places and I have been here several times. Seriously, this is worth going to the burbs for. I didn’t believe the hype until I actually was there. Their food is delicious and given in generous portions. Be prepared to wait, but that’s kind of expected since it is so good and popular. My favorites are: Stuffed French toast– a plethora of fruit! Seriously, it’s loaded with fresh fruit. Also, it doesn’t get too soggy from the stuffed portion due to how they later it. Multigrain pancakes– my mom ordered them and I thought they would be kind of boring but they were fantastic! Down Home Skillet– the sausage has enough flavor/spice but isn’t overpowering.(I don’t do too spicy). The sausage gravy is perfect and didn’t need any extra pepper. It also came on shredded potatoes which was a nice surprise. They do need some better coffee though. It’s fine, but they could do better. Intelligentsia, Stumptown, Bowtruss, or Metropolis would be great.

I came here for the second time today. They are always busy with a little of a wait. The place is cool with good customer service. Very friendly staff. Food is alright better than a tipical breakfast restaurant. I’m a coffee person and their coffee is not bad. If I’m in the area, this is the place I would come for breakfast.

What’s better than a birthday breakfast?! Birthday breakfast at Stacked, that’s what!!! My man and I went here for his birthday breakfast(even though I was the one that really wanted to go here… such an amazing man I have!) We walked into Stacked somewhat early, and of course there was a wait — not too bad though, just 20mins. Not quite sure how long we waited exactly, but we got to our table fairly quickly and our server came over immediately taking our drink order. We ordered fresh-squeezed orange juice, and tried to figure out what to eat. I opted for a simple meal: eggs, bacon, and I subbed the regular pancakes for red velvet pancakes(do it, it’s oh so very worth it!!!), and my boyfriend actually got the Stacked Club sandwich(so I guess we had birthday brunch, since I got breakfast and he got lunch, lol). Needless to say, our meal was finger-licking good! And I couldn’t wait to get to the red velvet pancakes… It’s been so long since I’ve had such amazingly fluffy, warm and delicious pancakes with cream cheese frosting… Mmm. My mouth is watering just writing this review and reminiscing about the deliciousness of this meal. Anyways, I highly recommend Stacked — it’s my favorite breakfast/lunch place in Chicago, and I always make it a point to go eat there when I’m in town.

My boyfriend, his brother and I went here around noon. There was a long line because this place is really popular. We got lucky and some parties left due to the long wait. We were seated in the middle of the breakfast restaurant. The place had a homey feel, where I felt very comfortable. The waitress happily greeted us, which I appreciated because their attitude can really make your experience better. The other thing I noticed is the staff worked as a team, even the manager. He participated in seating and cleaning. He wasn’t one of those annoying managers dictating from afar. I ordered a Lemon Greek soup, an Irish skillet and toast. The soup was creamy and delicious. It warmed my stomach, and(at the time) my stomach was feeling ill. It made me feel a lot better. Then, I had room for the Irish skillet. The Irish skillet has corn beef in it, topped with 2 eggs and a hollandaise sauce. It was delicious. I was so full when I left and was ready to knock out.
