Not impressed! I decided to give my dad a special photo for his birthday. I had a picture with a little poem underneath it that was all on one photo that I wanted to get framed. I went in for a consultation and it seemed to go very well. They were very helpful with helping me decide what would pair well.
I chose to get a custom made frame for it that really suited my photo with the poem. When I came to pick it up it was all wrapped up. When I got home to unravel it all… I was appalled. Some of the words from the poem got cut off on a custom made frame to fit everything!!! The framing job was honestly awful. I cannot believe at what I was given, especially for the money I spent.
I had to rip apart the whole thing and insert a completely different photo sans the poem I really wanted to include. So save yourself frustration and money. I was truly expecting better quality for a shop that specializes in framing.

I had gone into Michael’s with a 70% off coupon and the picture would have cost me more there and the staff was horrible to deal with. I also stopped in at the frame shop on Chicago Ave. first and they quoted me almost $ 70 more for the same thing. Support this local business they are awesome!

This frame shop did an incredible job with an antique tapestry for me. Gorgeous, quality work — The staff took time and care helping me to select the framing — friendly, helpful & knowledgable. Highly professional AND they helped me transport it due to the size. A++++++!!!

This is a few doors down from where we live. Had a print for over 5 years and wasn’t sure if it was going to be framed or not. Walked into Frame Warehouse and got great service. Also was given great choices that made sense with the print. Even discussed a glass versus plexiglass because it was going to be shipped. Took 2 weeks to get done. The end result was FANTASTIC!!! It truly is now a piece of artwork. Will recommend this place to others and will return with other pieces in the future. Thanks for a job well done!

Really happy to have found this place. The staff are helpful and really listened to what I wanted. They were willing to work within my budget, and they were super-​quick. The store itself is cool, with lots of historic Chicago artwork. Definitely a local business worth supporting.

All the staff have been very helpful and creative. The selections and options for framing pictures is great. They also have a great selection of photos from the Columbian Expo of 1893. Been going there for last 8 years and find them very consistent.

I love this place they do a great job. Their prices are great and they have a student discount. They cut my matte while I waited, they really took the time to make sure it looked good and tell me my options without being a pushy sale person. I go here every time I need a matte.

This place has been here for at least a dozen years — I’m amazed nobody has reviewed it yet. Nestled in the heart of the Harrison Street art district, this is a friendly mom-​and-​pop framing shop that isn’t flashy or snazzy, but it gets the job done. You’ll find a nice selection of modern and traditional frames and people who will understand what you want even if you don’t speak «frame-​ese.»
